Ezekiel 40-48 - In 572 B.C., fourteen years after Nebuchadnezzar II laid siege to Jerusalem causing the destruction of the city and Solomon's Temple, Ezekiel returns in a vision to the fallen city and is given detailed specifications of the reconstruction of the temple, the city and the land. After an intricate description of the new outer court, inner court and the temple Ezekiel views the return of the glory of the Lord to the temple from the east. Regulations concerning worship in the coming temple are followed by revelations concerning the new land and the city.

What Ezekiel is given in his visions by God deals with the literal temple, but also the prophetic of the new outer court, inner court and the temple within the New Jerusalem that God will usher down from heaven after this present earth and first heaven have passed away and all things made new again.

The outer court of the Tabernacle in the wilderness and later the Temple was the place of sacrifice. It was where sin was dealt with. It represents our life when we first came to Jesus who is our sacrifice for sin who washed us clean by His blood after we repented and accepted Him as Lord and Savior.

Our walk with God has to progress from the outer court (milk) into the Holy Place (meat) being the inner court as we begin to Spiritually mature and know Him more intimately as we develop a personal relationship with Him. It's all about relationship.

Then we progress to the Temple where is found the Holy of Holies as we become the Temple of God where His Shekinah glory dwells in us, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17.

Below explains the timing when Jesus will plant His feet across from the eastern gate as He stands on the Mount of Olives. It's only Jewish tradition that states that Jesus will pass through the Eastern Gate when He comes to rule. The problem is that Ezekiel specifically says the gate he saw is the outer gate of the sanctuary being that of the temple court, not a gate of the city, Ezekiel 44:1. The Eastern Gate that stands today was cemented up by the Muslims in AD 1540 and was not constructed until centuries later after the time of Christ. It was never a part of the old city Jerusalem and not the gate of the outer court.

We do not enter the Millennial Kingdom here on earth in our natural bodies, but in new glorified bodies, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54. When Christ returns in the air on the last day we are then caught up to meet Him in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord as He has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth as we rule with Him over the nations as His enemies have become His footstool in the end of days, John 5:28, 29; 6:40; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Rev 5:10; Psalms 110:1-4; Hebrews 10:12, 13.

Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 19:11-21 Jesus descends down from heaven with His army of the host (angels) of heaven as while remaining in the air He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather His own to Him. He will destroy the beast and false prophet casting them alive into the lake of fire, Rev 19:15, 16. The remnant in Rev 19:21 are the world leaders of every nation on the earth that have followed after the beast that rules their government. The remnant will be slain by the very words Jesus speaks of their damnation as the fowls will be filled with their flesh and at that time Satan will be chained and bound so he can not interfere with the ungodly people that are still alive on earth that become the footstool of Christ. Then the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ and He shall reign for ever and the saints will begin to rule over the nations here on earth, Rev 11:15; 5:10; 20:1-3; Matthew 5:5.

Rev 20:7-10 Those that have rejected Christ that still remain on earth after the beast, false prophet and all the ruling leaders from every nation that followed after the beast are destroyed are those who are the numbering as the sand of the sea. These are the enemy of God that Satan uses to battle against the saints during the battle of Armageddon that are camped upon the breadth of the earth after Satan is released for a season, Psalms 2:7-10; 110; Ezekiel 36; 37; Rev 20:7-9. The saints are camped not only in Jerusalem the beloved city of God, but also throughout the breadth of the earth. It's only the 144,000 generational Jews that believe in Christ that have returned to Jerusalem. After the 1000 years are fulfilled Satan is set loosed for a season and goes out to deceive the nations as he gathers the enemies of Christ to battle against the saints as the numbering of unbelievers is like the sand of the sea. As the enemy surrounds the camp of the saints God sends fire down from heaven and destroys the enemy and Satan is cast into the lake of fire. Zechariah 14:1, 2; Luke 21:20 and Rev 16:16 mentions the battle of Armageddon when Christ and His army of angels return as Christ plants His feet on the mount of Olives for the final battle as Gog and Magog found in Ezekiel Chapter 38 is the battle of Rev 20:7-9.

Interestingly the word east is used as towards (Moving) . Eastward moving to represent the new creation not of this world. Not seen . The married land spoken of in Isaiah 62:4

Fourty time the word eastward is used

From the garden of Eden meaning the city of pleasure or delight he sends out the gospel four rivers to represent universal the whole world (north, south, east and west).

Pison to represent spreading the four. There he set up gold the only rudiment of corrupted earth called good used to represent His faith the unseen golden measure . Another branch of the living water (river ) Pihon "bursting forth, gushing" the effect of the gospel on the gentile nations. Then the third hiddekel the quicking work "eastward again" to represent the unseen things of God . and last Euphrates "good to cross over"

Genesis 2:8And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Genesis 2:14And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates

Eastward a journey from the east

Genesis 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

What does any of this have to do with the OP as nothing was mentioned about Eden and the four rivers. Please stay on topic.

The word eastward is the key to understand how the word east is used .It speaks of the new heaven and earth. This present corrupted planet will go up in smoke on the last day on the Sun Why look to the tempoal ,East and not the eternal not seen viewed by faith . .Zion

Again, none of this has anything to do with the OP. The OP is about the literal and prophetic of the Temple of God and the Eastern Gate as Jesus will plant His feet upon the Mt of Olives that is on the side of the Eastern gate. It's not about North, East, West or south, nor is it about Eden and the four rivers. It's about the return of Christ and we being that Temple of God that is within us.

In that parable. . God who is not a man has no feet. The kingdom of God does not come by sight looking to the temporal things .

Literalizing the parables, the signified understanding of God would have God spreading out his feet for miles .

Matthew 23 and 24 . Describes Jesus the Son of man the prophet walking out of the temple made with human hands an abomination of desolation declaring it desolate . The disciples thought he should take a second look .Then in the twinkling of the eye on the high mountain to represent all the kingdoms of men of this world .They become the kingdom of God in the new heavens and earth.

Matthew 23:38-39 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.(24:1-3) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the "mount of Olives", the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

No sign was given .

Revelation 11:1 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever

In that parable.
What parable as there is no parable in the OP. You need to go back and read it.

The OP deals with the new Spiritual outer court, inner court and the Temple within us as we are now the Holy Temple of God, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. God no longer dwells in Temples made by hands, Acts 7:47-49; 17:24-28, and not the literal as there is no more literal Temple, but yet the Temple Mount remains under the Dome of the Rock. The Eastern gate has to deal with Jesus returning and planting His feet on the Mount of Olives facing the Eastern Gate side of Jerusalem. According to Jewish tradition states that Messiah will pass through the Eastern Gate when He returns and rules the nations. This is why the Muslims had it sealed up.

What parable as there is no parable in the OP. You need to go back and read it.
Without parables Christ spoke not .You need to reread the verses rather than literalizing the signified understanding of parables. called "hidden manna"

but yet the Temple Mount remains under the Dome of the Rock
God declared the abomination of desolation desolate in Matthew 23 .Is desolate not still active became of a couple bricks called a wailing wall. . idol image.

Everything is hidden manna when one has no Spiritual eyes or ears to understand the difference between the literal and the Spiritual teachings of Christ. Many things in the word of God can be parables/allegories, but in my OP it is all about the literal and the underlying Spiritual of the return of Christ.

If it is Christ in us yoked with him. Literally where is he returning from or moving to.?

Or is spiritual unseen thing of God and His Spirit leaves like a thief in the night on the last day under the Sun?

God is not a man.

Hidden mana gives us the spiritual eyes to see the unseen eternal things. Manna meaning what is it?

It begs to open up the book of prophecy. It reveals that which is hidden.

The 20/20 vision prescription needed to rightly divide the parables must be applied. I would offer don't study without that good study tool.

2 Corinthians 4: 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Easy to remember. Thing seen the here and now. The spiritual things not seen forever without end.

God is not a man.
The return of Christ is literal as He has given us the sign of His coming that we watch for.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Hidden mana gives us the spiritual eyes to see the unseen eternal things. Manna meaning what is it?
Manna is the bread of life like the manna that God sent down during the exodus, Exodus 16.

The manna that fed Israel was spread on the ground for all to see and gather (literal). Hidden manna (spiritually) symbolizing God's word is concealed from the rest of the world (carnal mind). It is insight from God that feeds the soul and sustains Spiritual life. There is physical nourishment and Spiritual nourishment.

Deu 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Manna literally meaning as a querry ..What is it ???

It is our daily bread. The unfamiliarity of the Holy Spirit working in us giving us his understanding. The kind of food the disciples knew not of at first.

John 4:31-34King James Version In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Hidden manna described as not seen spoken of in Revelation 2;17. a interpreting tool called the signified understanding in Revelation 1:1

When Moses had finished writing the book of the law the Bible, he was to place it on the side of the golden ark. Gold is used to represent faith. the unseen things of Gods glory.

The written word reveals what was inside opening the hidden wisdom of parable. God knew as soon as Moses vanished the philosophies of the pagan nations that serve the creature above the invisible Creator. Would return

We have the written the whole Bible the revealer of the things of Gods labor of love or called a work of His faith "let there be power"

Deuteronomy 31:24-29 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying,
Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the Lord; and how much more after my death?Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

Sola scriptura. . . put on that armor of God and keep it on as long as possible. Yoked with Christ the believer load is made lighter. With a living hope beyond the grave.

God declared the abomination of desolation desolate in Matthew 23 .Is desolate not still active became of a couple bricks called a wailing wall. . idol image.
Not talking about the wailing wall that surrounds Jerusalem other than the blocked up Eastern Gate that will be the side of Jesus planting His feet on the Mt of Olives that faces the Eastern Gate. OP has nothing to do with the wailing wall so please stay on topic.

See post 10? He doesn't mention the temple but says the Desolation is not active. I may have misunderstood him as reading it again, I am not sure what he means.
I went back and reread his post and told him it has nothing to do with the OP. I can see how you fed off from that.
