If the AI programing worldwide simply pulls all the material being generated on the internet about an individual and pools it, will they not these new video makers in effect be rewriting history and reinventing who the man was and what he taught?

For those who don't understand the implications here, suppose they decide to create a pro-LGBTQ Billy Graham 10 years from now, when far fewer people even remember what the man actually taught. Then the enemies of Christ can use it to argue that conservative Christians are so ignorant they don't even know what their predecessors taught.

A few carefully crafted sentences and the man can be turned into anything they want, and for now they are using the disclaimer. As I've said before I was for a short time in a cult, the Local Church, which some question is even a "cult." I believe it is. Other good Christians say it is not.

But the point is, I got into this group because the leader, Witness Lee, I recognized as an old associate of Watchman Nee, who I greatly admired. So, when I moved to S. CA, I joined up with Lee's church, and in fact lived half a block from his house. I temporarily lived with one of their elders.

But after reading a bunch of Lee's books, I found myself wondering, What he is saying that makes this group special, because he is clearly declaring his group is different and better than other churches? I eventually branded the movement a "cult," and left.

What really confused me, however, was the fact that "Living Streams" ministry sold both Nee's books and Lee's books at the same time. I thought, How could Nee be read next to Lee, who seemed to be saying something different? Lee simply took someone powerful, someone as powerful as Billy Graham, and redirected his teaching towards his own cult.

Incidentally, I received training via the military and Baylor University on behavior modification. I recognize in this the principle of classical conditioning in psychology. When pairing two stimuli together, one unconditioned and the other neutral, the neutral stimulus can be "conditioned" to act like the unconditioned stimulus.

This happens all the time. For example, one stimulus, a finger poking you in the eye, causes you to blink and to withdraw in fear. Another stimulus is "neutral," such as seeing a finger somewhere near you, perhaps on a friend's hand nearby.

But when the neutral finger approaches your eye, it is paired with the experience of being poked in the eye. Even if the finger doesn't actually poke you in the eye, the finger near your eye has now been conditioned to cause you to blink and to withdraw in fear.

This is what they're doing. They're pairing a positive stimulus like Billy Graham with a neutral stimulus like a variety of messages that some have stated are "biblical." By pairing them together, some messages arae conditioned to look "powerful," as if from Billy Graham.

This is like the self-help Billy Graham, and some of it appears good, but again none of it appears to be what he actually preached. Instead it's all "inspired by Bishop Growth Mindset," whoever in the world that is.

This is the one I fell for before I realized all this was going on, and the message itself is actually good! I was like, "Wow. I thought he just preached on salvation." But the synthetic voiceovers on this one are very good IMO. Sounds just like him. The point is that anyone could be fooled by this business if they did not know they were being sold a bill of goods.

Billy Graham visited my home town often. His old friends homes are on my two routes that I alternate one.

Given AI potential anyone can made into something they aren't. The problem isn't new as books don't always contain the truth a history teacher well said just because a book contains it doesn't make it a truth. It's much easier to change history.

It's a problem. They can flood the Internet with 3 dozen videos in a month that say the apostle John was pro-LGBTQ and anti-homophobic. All they have to do is cite the verse where it says John was "the disciple whom Jesus loved," and then cite him again in 1st John saying "Anyone who does not love his brother is still walking in darkness," and there you have it. Jesus was homosexual, John was his homosexual partner, and anyone who does not embrace homosexual Christianity is deceived. And in an age where the populace is getting increasingly dumbed down and relying on the computer "AI" to do all their thinking for them, that will eventually become the majority opinion.

I could post the link of a book of my cousin a Jew captured and a pow and his description of how Germans willingly followed Hitler and few resisted the call to round up Jews as no one was forced to be a member of the party . they cheered Hitler . he spoke about how the Germans treated him badly as a pow and when the American and allies got close to his pow camp as he matched the people changed their tune .he in his book felt much of Europe after the war was still very much antisemitic .

AI frightens me a little bit because of things like this. Especially in the context of substandard schools and the politicization of education and…everything…

Effectively erasing and then rewriting history is possible to a greater degree than ever before. And…

With all the constant rhetoric about radicalization etc, what’s not acceptable is now increasingly medicalized do having an unpopular dissenting or opposing view is radical and potentially sick as well.

Side note : when vhs went to dvd some things were lost. DVD to streaming some wee list done were also lost to contract disputes and other legal matters…

So much of our shared knowledge history and experience is now digital and controlled by massive corporations with the government also playing an increasingly frightening role. Add in AI and heavy media saturation and educational systems where the content is controlled by those in power….

Yes , and using an AI recreation of Billy Graham's voice too adds to the deception . Although as me and wife listened to a video it was off and did not sound exactly like Billy Graham . The creators of these videos are also doing their best to provide videos with a message that people want to hear . Get the views and the payday money is what it is all about .

Jesus warned us about those who try to deceive us as they are many antichrist within the world. Just because someone calls themself a Pastor does not mean they have been called and anointed to be one. Anyone who says they go to the true church and every other church is wrong are most likely just as wrong in the doctrines of man they teach.
