    What Is Plagiarism?

I can't find that definition. Do you have a reference? You're not thinking of "parody"? Or "synopsis"?

    What Is Plagiarism?

Oh...well that's not what the word critique actually means ("a detailed analysis and assessment of something, especially a literary, philosophical, or political theory").

    What Is Plagiarism?

How do you mean? Fanfiction is writing new stories using existing plots and characters that someone else created. It's not done for profit, only fun.

    What Is Plagiarism?

My opinion is that you're probably OK, but what do I know?

    What Is Plagiarism?

Oh boy, here goes another one of my "grey area" answers. I don't believe there is a definitive answer for whether fanfiction is plagiarism, either legally or morally. A general filter is whether you profit from it monetarily; then it probably is plagiarism. If you're just having fun, some people...

    Hobbies Aikido

Last year I visited a friend out-of-state who has been studying with a retired Aikido sensei for a couple years. His teaching included restoring the counter-strikes that were removed from the original jiujutsu curriculum. He could show you all the places in aikido moves where you could insert an...

    [__ Science __ ] Conjoined Twins

It looks to me like their reproductive machinery was completely separate, so children-wise no different from any other two brothers. Women I'm not sure; it would depend how they were conjoined internally, again whether the reproductive system is shared or separate.

    Bible Study Romans 7-8

Very simple: there's a difference between "OK" and "Best". It may be OK to get by with the struggle-and-repent cycle, if that's the best you can manage. It is best, however, to live as Paul suggested, living in Christ and not dealing with the struggle in the first place. I think inevitably...

    What Is Plagiarism?

"Plagiarism is the wrongful appropriation and stealing and publication of another authors language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions and the representation of them as one's own original work." -Wikipedia

[__ Science __ ] Glow In The Dark Sharks?

Not only possible, but fairly common. It's called bioluminescence. Most common example are fireflies. Many more things in the oceans can glow. The light is usually produced chemically. Ever play with those green glowsticks? Same principle.

    Growth Too Much Religion

    Bingo!

    Growth Too Much Religion

No, I mean becoming a holier-than-thou. I see that with some Christians, sadly. They start lording over their brothers and sisters like they're spiritually superior. Typically they start talking like Christian Yoda and are always answering questions with questions. Realllllly annoying.

    Growth Too Much Religion

No, I think that passage is discussing a different issue than something that is currently in your life. I think it's talking about religious arrogance, or copping a holier-than-thou attitude. Taking Christ's basic message, sprinking it heavily with your own ideas to the point His message is lost.

Bible Study Higher Than The Angels?

I really think you're going to have to post passages for us to respond to these kind of queries. It's just too easy to second-guess what the author was saying.

    Growth Too Much Religion

OK, I see what he's saying, I think. Religion and say, faith, are two different things. Religion is a systematic, organized way of approaching faith, and like any system, can get in its own way. You can get lost in the officiousness of it, and lose sight of your core spiritual experience. So...

Plus you're going to credit the true author, and not represent the work as your own.

    Growth Too Much Religion

I don't know. Isn't there some kind of clause where it's OK to reproduce for the purpose of writing a review, or something like that?
