    Dear heart.. these verses are talking to those who know they have sinned. The unsaved, gentiles don't know that. And 1 John is talking to the christian....And Ephesians also.

    Partly.... But in the OT a man was to go into his brother wife, since her husband died, and sire children with her. Well he went in to her, and pulled out just as he was about to cum, and spilled his seed, on the ground. And the consequence caused Gods anger to rise against him for doing so...

    Yes dear heart, all Jews and Gentiles were under sin, because of Adam. But since Christ was the last Adam, only those who try to keep the LAW are in sin, fallen from Grace.
