Examination is not a true test of knowledge

Sure until you have a heart attack. People gotta deal with this stuff 12 hours a day 6-7 days a week in many factories. This world is getting closer to looking like that old black and white movie "Metropolis"

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

Ever work on the line with a supervisor who was never a line worker? Ever deal with quality or HR who has never worked on the line? Much of the reason it is often set up like this is about control and not what is effective. The added control is seen as a worthwhile gain for a small sacrifice in...

Bible Study Jesus Loves All Equally?

Jesus hates some people. He doesn't love everyone equally. He shows No Partiality Among The Nations. He is not a racist, is another way of putting it. But as for individuals, yes he does show favor to some. He clearly hates some people. Psalm 11:5 Psalm 5:5

    Water

The use of the term "Logos" is often used, in modern times, to blur the line between the mystery schools and Christianity. In Greek times, it was used to contrast between the two. That's why we don't see the word "Logos" in any English translation. You can use whatever term you want, but I'm not...

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

This. We should understand that grammar and sentence structure do not indicate intelligence nor wisdom, as well. Someone can be self-educated and place little emphasis on grammar, and still be much more knowledgeable than someone who went to a university. Do not forget to distinguish between...

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

Yes that can happen. It goes both ways. That is why we need to strive for openness, honesty, and clarity. Human emotions play a large role in deterring these things and often lead to sin.

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

Ask for clarification. Sometimes it is our perspective that causes us to be unable to understand what someone else is saying. Sometimes our perspective is a result of false impressions acquired by being too trusting of our perceptions. This builds up over the course of a person's life, btw.

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

That is when you point out the correction and ask for clarification. If you do not do that, God sees you allowing someone to remain in error. If this leads to pride it is even worse. Edited reba

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

Much more often than not, it does. This is because of WHY people want knowledge and WHAT they view knowledge as. They also end up with faulty knowledge as a result, normally.

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

The farce is the idea that someone needs to use proper grammar to discuss the Aramaic, Greek, Latin, and Hebrew. We have biblehub these days.

Examination is not a true test of knowledge

Earthly wisdom and knowledge should never lead to respect. It does not determine the value of a person. Godly wisdom and knowledge should be accepted as council and God should be respected.

    My Right To Die

You might notice that it is a general precept that ties into Godly thought, but is not an absolute rule. Daniel sure didn't ALWAYS obey authority.

    The Blood of Jesus Christ

Because a perfectly faithful friend had been hurt, a perfectly faithful friend had to reconcile this wrong. Since no human is perfectly faithful, God sent Himself as Jesus His Son. We are all deserving of death, and our death does not pay for our sins. It does not reconcile us. We are just...

    Water

What God's Breath wrote in Greek was meant for the Greeks. You will also notice how the term "mystery" is used in the letters. We have no reason to use the term "Logos" in today's age. It comes from the mystery schools that were clearly contrasted to in both the OT and the NT. Why would the...

Bible Study Jesus Loves All Equally?

That is the only one I know of where He illustrated this point. There are other times where He helped Gentiles. The point He was illustrating is that the God of Israel is our God. You have to understand the different cultures. The people of Israel are all those who are in Christ. The Gentiles...

    Water

I am not understanding you. It's all the same to me. Can you clarify further? I stay away from the word "Logos" because it was incorporated into Judaism by Philo around 20 bc and came from the Greek mystery schools. It is not a term found in the Word of God, although the definition in John could...

12 reasons why hell is not eternal couscious torment - Part One

This doesn't seem like fun to me: Acts 1:18 I am not claiming either way with regards to the topic, but I do think that is what that passage is talking about.
