Where does the Bible teach that the Bible alone” is the sole source of truth? Or rule of faith for Christians?

Where does the Bible say that all the truths revealed by God are found in the Bible?

Where does the Bible say what is and what is not scripture?

Where does the Bible list the Ten Commandments?

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Truth, goodness, and beauty are divine, and proceed from God!

The heavens declare the glory of God cos they are beautiful and cos they are well ordered, obeying the natural laws and implying a law giver! Creator!

Matt 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

(Not revealed to Peter by scripture)

Lk 3:2 the word of God came unto John in the wilderness.

(Not revealed to John the Baptist by scripture) did a book fall out of the sky?

God called Abram, Noah, Moses and the prophets, Christ taught the apostles in person for three years all apart from scripture!

Scripture cannot be the sole authority!

No opposition here to valid scripture only to the false doctrine of “the Bible alone”!

Thanks

What else should we use besides the bible?

If you stopped using exclamation points you'd be taken more seriously.

A Fat sandwich man.

Interpretation / meaning?

A fat man that makes sandwiches:
A man who makes fat sandwiches:

You cannot know the true meaning unless I who wrote it tells you what it means.

Only the church who wrote scripture can give them proper interpretation / meaning.

You need to calm down.
Catholicism has enough problems and your incorrect statements are adding to it.

That's the problem Don,
I know you're not opposing the bible.
But if YOU believe other sources could be used,
then maybe so would others.

If we begin to use other sources, where would it stop?

I'll say that you're right.
We, each one of us here on this forum, cannot be a biblical scholar.
We can hear what the Holy Spirit has to say to us,
but it should be personal revelation instead of general revelation.

I DO believe we should be following our denomination,
but each one believes something different!

Maybe Jesus should have put His teachings down in writing?

The church and the apostles with power and authority were founded before the New Testament, and and exercised authority before the New Testament and taught before the new testament and wrote the New Testament and cannonized the Bible!

Truth must be revealed by God thru Christ to His church (the apostles Jude 1:3) then must be proposed by the church, (Matt 28:19 gal 3:23) without error by the Holy Spirit! (Jn 16:13)

Christ and His church are one! (Acts 9:4 eph 5:31 Jn 15:1-5)

Christ established the church to teach and sanctify all men Matt 28:19
Well, unfortunately we do not all belong to the same church.

You're talking about the CC, and I do believe the CC is the first church,
but we are not sanctified by the church.

We are sanctified by separating ourselves from the world paradigm and following God.

To put them all down in writing an extra world would be needed to contain them all. For in this one there isn't enough trees to make all the paper needed.

The universal church
One, holy, catholic, and apostolic

LOL
Yes, but it sure would have helped us to know EXACTLY what He intended.

For instance, the Qu'ran has every little requirement written down.

The difference is that Jesus meant for us to have a SPIRITUAL response to Him and He didn't want us to live
only by rules, laws, commands - I say ONLY because Jesus does intend for us to follow His commands.
But it seems we humans have a difficult time understanding spiritual ideas and thus we have differing opinions about what Jesus wants from us.
