Can anybody suggest a good book which teaches on the 7 feasts and correlates the spring feasts with the first coming of our Lord and the fall feasts with His return?

Thanks in advance, Westtexas

Yes, here is an entire "booklet" online about the feasts:

Pagan Days or God's Holy Days, Which?

My only gripe with H. W. Armstrong is that as much as he seems to have a handle on the feasts, and taught that they were indicative of God's plan involving mankind's redemption, he seems to skip one of the most significant ones: the feast of Firstfruits.

That's because Firstfruits foreshadowed Christ's resurrection. However, that feast always fell on a Sunday. They teach that he arose on a Saturday, and my hunch as to why they believe that is to justify keeping weekly Sabbath just as most of Christendom keeps Sunday as resurrection day. However, Armstrong is right about the Sabbath, but the resurrection did not have to occur on Saturday to justify keeping it. Rather, the resurrection occurred on the "eighth day" of the week, the number of circumcision and new beginning--- throwing off the old life and starting anew. But Armstrong's crucifixion timeline is correct, i.e Jesus died on a Wednesday late in the day, buried at sundown as Unleavened bread started, and arose 3 days later (i.e. 15th+3=18th), he says late Saturday afternoon, I say sundown as the 18th of Nisan started. I won't mince over a few hours, say 3, because Armstrong otherwise deals very thoroughly with this topic of the feasts that other Christian churches failed miserably to address. And this is important because God's prophetic plan is contained in the feast days.

Of course I'm not interested in all this only because I so happen to love math, astronomy, calendars, time and I am also a Gnomonist. :lol
