this question has stuck in my mind for a while.
how come God didnt make the world like Heaven in the first place? cause taht way nobody will be suffering in hell. he couldve just killed, or justified satan.

also, like, how can it be a free world if theres no sinning in heaven? it doesnt really make sense but like, idk i'm all confused

how come God didnt make the world like Heaven in the first place?

The Garden of Eden was Heaven on Earth.

cause taht way nobody will be suffering in hell. he couldve just killed, or justified satan.

God gave all intellectual creation free will. And He gave us eternal souls, so He had no intention of killing an eternal soul that He created, because God is pure Love. Besides, the fact that Lucifer fell and became satan is a spiritual death for eternity, but it was satan's decision.

also, like, how can it be a free world if theres no sinning in heaven?

Adam and Eve were created in God's Grace and they lived by that Grace. But, they did have free will and that's why they chose to disobey God and then, like children, when confronted with direct questions, refused to repent. That was all because of their free will. If they hadn't had free will, then they wouldn't have been able to do that.

Before God created this world and Adam and Eve, He already knew what the outcome of their decisions and consequently the outcome of the world, till this day, would be.

So, perhaps you may ask, why did God create us at all, then?

The answer: because God is Love. He created because He is Love. He could not do otherwise. And Christ, being the Second Person of the Holy Trinity showed us exactly how we should deal with others...with complete love. That is our proof that God is all about love.

St. John Chrysostom taught that Adam and Eve were created as servants of God. But, since God knew what would happen, He already determined how to counteract satan's attempts. So He sent His only Begotten Son to be sacrificed for our sins, so that, although man was created as a servant of God, to live in His Heaven, He already pre-determined our salvation to become his sons/daughters. And who can inherit the Kingdom of Heaven but the children of God. A servant of the king serves, but the children of the king can inherit His Kingdom.

But, it does still come down to our free will. Many souls have rejected their inheritance, of their own free will and they have lost their souls to eternal darkness and pain. It's not that God is punishing them, but that they chose to reject God and they are suffering for their choice.

In Christ,

Pelagia
