If there is no creator, aka "God", why then have Jews and the state of Israel been so persecuted since the beginning of known human history and continue to be so persecuted today?

As pointless question as there are no atheists on this forum.
They would ascribed the 20th February perscution for the Jews to religious bigotry taught to people, leading to hatred Dr .
If you are going to talk to atheists there are far better methods.
Look up wintery knight and search for, the worst mistakes you can make when defending the Christian world view.

He advocates using scientific evidence and reasoning to demonstrate that a belief in God is reasonable. He advocates that anyone can believe anything so long as it is shown by the evidence, that is scientific evidence, to be reasonable.
He suggests not moving from this argument untill the point is accepted, as many atheists will jump to argue about evil, going to hell, which denomination etc and these are red herrings.

A simpler version is to ask what do you believe? And follow it once they have explained with.
What evidence do you have to support your beliefs?
A subsequent question is What evidence would you accept?
