Ezekiel
Chapter 21
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.

23 And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

29 Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

30 Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.

31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

32
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
And so it will be done
We don't know the date but a date has been set by the Father for the sake of His Holy name, not the Israelites, He will do it.
Acts1
Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
7He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

he says:
“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.

I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

No one rises from the dead apart from Christ as He is the one that raises us all up on the last day.
And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

The Children of God
children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God

As I have stated with the signs given in Rev 11 God will turn away their unbelief in Israel and they will become members of the body of Christ. God will destroy the nations gathered against Israel in those days.

I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.

Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.

On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake a in the days of Uzziah king of Judah.

Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him

On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. 7It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.

On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.

The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.

As Jesus, Gods Christ, inherits all things
Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

The Truth About Jesus’ Death

My mother gave me a King James Bible when I was a child. Seventy-one (71) years later I still have it. My bible has numerous marker tags highlighting what I found interesting and worth reminding me of for future review.

I began by reading the New Testament which is full of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us how to be kind to others, as in the stranger but most of all Jesus used the Book of Ezekiel, the third of the Latter Prophets in the Tanakh and one of the major prophetic books in the Old Testament. It records six visions of the prophet Ezekiel, exiled in Babylon, during the 22 years from 593 to 571 BC.
Book of Ezekiel – Wikipedia

During this period Jerusalem was under the rule of the Romans which the local community strongly rejected.

in Palestine there were a number of occasions when more restless elements in the population resisted Roman abuses and followed the tradition of “zealousness for the Law.”
under the Romans (ruled 37-4 B.C.E.). Herod surrounded himself with Greek scholars and undertook many building projects, including a magnificent and fortified palace. He rebuilt the Temple in Jerusalem.

Before he died, Jesus of Nazareth was born.

The history of the Jews in the Roman Empire

Rebellion in Judaea
Although Judaea was ruled by the Romans, the governors there had practiced the same kind of religious tolerance as was shown to Jews in Rome.

The history of Palestine is the study of the past in the region of Palestine, defined as the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River.

The crucifixion of Jesus occurred in 1st-century Judea, most likely in either AD 30 or AD 33. According to the canonical gospels Jesus was arrested and tried by the Sanhedrin, and then sentenced by Pontius Pilate to be scourged, and finally crucified by the Romans.

Crucifixion of Jesus - Wikipedia
In the canonical gospels, Pilate's court refers to the trial of Jesus in praetorium before Pontius Pilate, preceded by the Sanhedrin Trial. After questioning Jesus and receiving very few replies, Herod sees Jesus as no threat and returns him to Pilate.

At the time Jerusalem was part of Roman Judea, the charges of the Sanhedrin against Jesus held no power before Pilate. This was said after learning that Jesus did not wish to claim any terrestrial kingdom. He was therefore not a political threat and could be seen as innocent of such a charge.

Stepping back outside, Pilate publicly declared that he found no basis to charge Jesus,

Pilate's court - Wikipedia

Early in the morning the chief priests and elders planned to have Jesus executed.

Pilate had Jesus flogged. Soldiers put a crown of thorns and purple robe on Jesus, hit his face and mocked him saying: 'Hail, king of the Jews!'
Pilate, outside, repeated his not guilty verdict and presented Jesus: 'Here is the man!'

Chief priests [Rabbis] and officials shouted: 'Crucify! Crucify!' Pilate: 'Go ahead and crucify him. I myself find no guilt in him.' Jewish leaders: 'Our law says he must die because he claimed to be the Son of God.'

Pilate, interrogated Jesus inside. Jesus: 'You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.' Pilate tried to set Jesus free.

Jewish leaders [Rabbis]: 'If you let him go, you disobey Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.'
Pilate brought out Jesus around noon, saying: 'Here is your king.' They shouted: 'Take him away, crucify him!'
Pilate: 'Shall I crucify your king?' Chief priests: 'We have no king but Caesar.'
Pilate handed Jesus over to them for crucifixion.

Pilate came out and asked them why. They said only Pilate could apply the death penalty.

Pilate, inside: 'Are you the king of the Jews?' Jesus: 'My kingdom is not of this world, otherwise my servants would have fought to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders.'

Pilate: 'You are a king, then!' Jesus: 'You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.' Pilate: 'What is truth?'

Pilate, outside: 'I find no guilt in him.'

In the New Testament, the Sanhedrin trial of Jesus refers to the trial of Jesus before the Sanhedrin (a Jewish judicial body) (NOTE: the Jewish leaders were Rabbis) following his arrest in Jerusalem and prior to the trial before Pontius Pilate.
Jesus is generally quiet, does not mount a defense, and rarely responds to the accusations, and is found guilty of various offenses.
Sanhedrin trial of Jesus - Wikipedia

Jewish tradition and texts portray the Sanhedrin to be an established court [all of them were rabbis], based in Jerusalem with strict guidelines on how to function.
Thereafter, in Pilate's Court, the Jewish elders [Rabbis] ask Pontius Pilate to judge and condemn Jesus, accusing him of claiming to be the King of the Jews. Such a claim would be considered treasonous, for being a direct challenge to the Roman authorities.

In conclusion, after reviewing all the available written facts concerning Jesus Christ, I find overwhelming evidence that Jesus Christ did not die for our sins but was murdered by the Romans, at the request of the local Rabbis in Jerusalem and in return, the revolt against the Roman occupation would stop.

Jesus was teaching the Book of Ezekiel which portrayed the Jewish people badly.

The Rabbis wanted Jesus’ to shut up and the Romans wanted the rebellion to stop. Having Jesus killed solved both problems.

The Kingdom will be restored to Israel to fulfill Gods promises.
No, my sweet plump dumpling.

God chose them to follow His teachings and there by set a good example for all to follow.
The Jews failed to do this, so the Lord scattered them.
Then the Lord decided to give the Jews a second chance to follow His commandments, so He gathered them.
Today they continue to defy the Lord thinking they are above Him.

Now we are witnessing Judgement Day!

I'm curious why you left out verse 28 and verse 26? Doesn't verse 28 begin a prophecy to the Ammonites?

First of all "All Israel will be saved"

At the end of the age through the signs given as outlined in REV 11 many in Jerusalem will come to believe in Jesus. They are at that point members of the body of Christ.

I suggest you read Zech 14 as the armies attacking Jerusalem are destroyed by God. On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles

The Lord will be reigning from Jerusalem. Abrahams descendants will inherit the lands assigned to each tribe according the word of the Lord.

The gathering will be from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

The "thee" above is the profane wicked prince of Israel
But you are welcome to interpret the verses any way you want.

You make a big presumption that all of that is still future tense.

Simply put, all of Israel includes the Gentiles that have been graphed into the branch of Israel. All will be saved that have confessed Christ as their Lord and Savior as the righteous will live by faith. Romans 11:11-31, Galatians 3:15-29.

I think there's more to this subject than any of us comprehend. The Lord showed me a few years ago that I'm descended from Levi...through the Assyrian exile! Up until then I thought I was an English/Canadian Christian.
Nothing is easy for me! Lol

Paul was a descended Jew, too, and he counted it all as loss for the cause of Christ.

Levi was also not a tribe in the Old Testament. Certainly not one of the ten exiled by Assyria.

Zech 14 is future tense. God saves Israel as those armies are destroyed by the Lord's coming.

Judah was exiled in 586bc.
Zechariah wrote the prophecy that Israel would be restored in 520bc.
Israel was restored, the temple rebuilt in 516bc -- AFTER Zechariah prophesied it.
Alexander the Great conquered Jerusalem in 332bc.
The Romans surrounded Jerusalem and sacked it in 63bc and 70ad, surrounding the Lord's coming.
The Romans pretty much annihilated the rest of Israel in 132ad.
Jerusalem falls like 20 more times after that. Including to Christians.

The Lord told me 3 times, in 3 identical situations, 3 weeks apart that I was a Levite. I assume He had a reason for it.
Judah and Levi had the same mother. Levi was one of the original 12 tribes.
After the golden calf incident, the Lord replaced the firstborn with the tribe of Levi. Joseph's two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh replaced Joseph and Levi.
Levi is the 13th tribe.
The Assyrians took all of Israel, except for Jerusalem.
He confirmed all of this to me through a documentary that He told me to go watch, the first I'd ever watched on the subject. It started in ancient Samaria with the house of Israel's Levites going south to the House of Judah.
It followed them into Assyria, later north and west through the Caucasus mountains, through the Ukraine, Europe, Scandinavia, and ended in what is now Normandy during the 1500s, which is where my parent's family tree went back to.
It is also where my surname, at first Cotes or Coten, originated. I guess my ancestor wasn't inside Jerusalem when they were taken.
This is a solid source for biblical and other historical data: "https://hebrewnations.com/"

The Romans pretty much annihilated the rest of Israel in 132ad.
The local Rabi’s also told the Romans that if they crucified Jesus the local Israelites would stop the rebellion against the Romans.

During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times.

We will see history repeat itself for the last time when the son of perdition takes his seat in Jerusalem causing all to take the mark of this beast or die a martyr's death for the sake of Christ.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

?
Sarcasm?

The Jews who crucified Jesus staged a rebellion, which is why the Romans surrounded Jerusalem and sacked it. They thought all the same "God will annihilate all the armies who surround Jerusalem" stuff then, too. In fact, the Jews staged three rebellions. And in fact, the Jews beheaded any Christians in Judea who refused to serve in the rebel army against the Romans. Which many Christians went to their deaths out of conviction.

The fruitless branches got cut off and thrown in the fire. And the Romans were God's instrument by which He did it.
