The leader of the administration was on the way to being driven out of office as her approval ratings were so low, and apparently it was just a coincidence she stood down and a new unelected charming young fresh face in the socialist poo party took over as Leader after she went tyranny and the people were not impressed.

But she recieved the highest honors of the country this week even she is out of office and everyone is more broke and miserable under her leadership, and she did not hold the full term and quit on the people she was suppose to represent and never even delivered on a single promise , and she went full tyranny.

That frightens me, its possible to 24/7 repeat emotional appeals until the human brain uncritically begins to accept whatever lie is being repeated, 24/7. Black athletes and Barack Obama do not erase the issues talked about when discussing systemic racism.

The issues usually revolve around policing, red lining, infrastructure, and downplaying African America accomplishments and contribution to American society.

Black people with money move to the US to access parts of society that are harder for entrenched working class people to obtain.

Don't know how this thread went from the cost of retail loss to current gender issues, so I'll see if I can address the OP.
Yes, retail theft costs everyone. But of course, the totality of the costs explained in the OP isn't all smash and grab artist's. It also includes employee theft and just the general individual that pockets a few items. However, one of the best tools that is used extensively in Great Britain is the use of cameras. But here in the U.S. we believe the use of so many cameras around everywhere is an infringement of our basic right to privacy. So it's not likely to be something that we initiate anytime soon, but it really is the answer to catching and prosecuting such crimes.

I don't know how many watch the 'crime TV' shows on the BBC, but they have cameras and live observance of retail locations. A camera 'watcher' can actually dispatch police as the crime is occurring and get facial pictures and clothing details immediately out to the police before they even arrive on scene. They have such an integrated system that they can often watch where the fleeing criminals are going and direct the police to them as they are attempting to flee the area.

Here, we consider such 'watching' as a serious infringement of our personal rights. But I firmly believe it is one of the best tools to address the issue. But, much like firearms control, if we aren't going to use technology and laws to address such issues...it isn't going to get much better around here. But that's a choice that we, as a society group, make.

I'll be the first to agree with you that CA has some pretty wild rules and regs addressing environmental and gender issues. Fortunately, I don't live in CA so it doesn't effect me. But you'll get no argument from me on the issue of CA being a pretty far out there state, as regards these issues.

However, I'm old enough to know that Gavin Newsom and Pres. Biden aren't like the trinity of God. They are not co-equal and operate by the same Spirit.

Slavery was abolished so it's the past. And that's a great achievement. And everyone is protected equally under civil rights law.

Not all whites owned slaves. Not all blacks were slaves. Whites fought to abolish slavery. Blacks fought to abolish slavery.

White Christians were enslaved under the Islamic Ottoman and that wasn't that long ago. The jews have been persecuted since forever. The indiginous people of Australia had it tough. Everyone just need to learn from history and past wrongs so wrongs dont happen again and move forward.

what makes my head explode is that a lot happened post freeing the slaves up to the cival rights act, and from the cival rights act on.

A lot of people are just extremely un aware of just how much racists were not willing to accept black people into society, and the ways the law, finances, and even our prison system was constructed to get around the abolishments.


I share, talking about this makes me think some of you guys think that once the cival rights act was passed everything magical became equal. That infrastructure and money just appeared in front of black people. Property just grew out of no where and magical education opened its arms to black people. That entire parts of this country didn't try to find any loop hole to keep the same prejudice.

This wasn't 100 years ago, this was 60 and less years ago. Jim crow was made illegal, but many states found new ways around the act. Cities ignored primarily black neighborhoods. The government helped white families move away from black people. The government for a long time allowed realtors and insurance the ability to not serve black people. Many communities and schools had restricts on black inhabitants all the way into the 80s. Some schools still segregated proms into the mid 2000s.
