Anyway, I was just thinking...are we that much different from ancient Rome? Or the ancient cultures surrounding what would become Israel?

I was just thinking...OK, so we have...open sexual immorality, child sacrifice (they used temples to Moloch, we have abortions), drugs abuse galore (sorcery), increasing fascination and involvement in the occult, easy divorce, an over-sexualized society, and...

...and I'm thinking maybe this isn't anything new, its just history repeating itself. Maybe its a bit worse, what with modern technology and all. Oh, and slavery...we have human trafficking now, plus super low wage illegal alien labor.

nope.pot meet kettle. we are very much like rome. we have the style of parties like the plebecites and patricians. plebecites are the dems and the republicans are the patricians and both didn't do much for the common folk.

The Bible did say that towards the end times there would be a falling away from the truth and people would become more degenerate and violent. So i see the fall into roman type decadent culture as a sign of the end times and the soon return of the Messiah Jesus.

I think it has more to do with human base instinc than Rome. Rome is an example of what happens when power is used for sustaining corupt systems. However I think we can simplify it even more.

We as people yearn for food, entertainment, rest, power/freedom, and sex.

As a society we will do what it takes to get that said power. What we are seeing now ia that the US has managed to make food, sex, leisure, entertainment, and ecen wealth easier to get. So we then find something new to fight over or control.


We are wired to find conflict and to alwaya want more. Its survival instincts. Just that when we give power to some that arent conxerned with the general welfare, then we see mass problems.

uhm, the army trained me on what Satanism is. there are how many Satanists in the army? not enough for one chaplain. they have asked for one to be in the army but that was one church of satan in Oklahoma. if what you said is true, then well being that we have cemeteries everywhere. especially in my small town, it would well noticed if a stone was desecrated. there Satanist that don't do that. they are odd and out there but they do whacky things and say it but never would harm you.

does satan one day have some lady walk nude to work and you give in have sex? Not all Masons are illuminati. All masons are under Lucifer whether they realize it or not. Albert pike said Lucifer was the light, and Manly P Hall said the seething energies of lucifer is in their hands. Many Masons have left freemasonry because of this.
