Blessings in writing

I'm into writing my fifth vampire book, shadowing the themes of Ex/Lv. For me, writing books gets me a little deeper into the book of books, but then should I need such incentive to open the Bible? I wonder if other fantasy writers also go deeper into deity through their writings.
