Since I've noticed some preterists hanging around here  ; I fugured it would be interesting to take a poll on how members interpret the Book of Revelations...
To summarize the choices...
Spiritual System- Revelation deals only with great principles and is a poetic and prophetic description of the struggle that has always been going on between righteousness and sin; Christ and Satan.
Preterist System- The system holds that Revelation has largely been fulfilled in John's own time. The events refer to the Roman State, the Jews, the Destruction of the Jerusalem and Christians of the 1st century.
The Historical System- This system holds the prophecies of Revelation embrace the whole history of the Church from the time of its writing until the Second Coming of Christ.
The Futurist System- Places the whole Book of Revelations beginning with Revelation 4 to the time of the Second Coming of Christ.
