I attended Church today and my friends boyfriend, also a friend of mine (Richy), found out Tuesday that his brother has cancer. They just went to the doctor's office thinking they boy had a cold, but found out he has masses in his chest, all around his lungs and heart. From what I hear, it's not good. Not a lot is known but the guy is only 18 and Richy is worried. I can tell, even if he tries not to show it. He loves his brother and I can only guess how the family is taking it.

From what I know, Richy is the only one who attends church and I told him I'd be praying for him. Will you guys keep Richy's brother and him in your prayers tonight? Thanks.

will do. i lost a friend to cancer he left behind three children and wife. pray for them as well

I am also praying for Richy's brother. His story sounds remarkably similar to my son's. He was 16 when I took him to the doctor for what we thought was asthma. It turned out to be a huge mass (lymphoma) of cancer invading his lung and around his heart. I want you to know and to tell Richy that cancer is NOT necessarily a death sentence. My son is almost 20 now and has been in remission since 2006. Praise the Lord! He is more powerful than any cancer.

Lord Jesus, place your healing hands around this young man's body and destroy this cancer as I know you can and have seen you do. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I will also pray for him.

I have had cancer. I met new people but that was one the only high parts. The medicine stinks.

I will definitely lift him up in my prayers.

May God Bless You!

Thank you for all your prayers. It hasn't been enough time to tell you if anythings changed but I'll keep you guys informed. Thanks again!
