Caution on self-proclaimed biblical language experts

Let me up front state, I refuse to use Facebook or Twitter as I consider them both as subversive tools of Marxists. But, I also use caution on some on the other side such as Gateway Pundit. I look at it, but am cautious. I am posting this because it concerns an OT Hebrew word, according to an article on Gateway Pundit. It claims to expose Mark Zuckerberg as ignorant of the Jewish language for using the word "meta". I'll show the Gateway link and then two other links showing the word "death" in Biblical Aramaic and the word "meta" which is Aramaic. It is well worth a look because I find this sort of misleading, self-proclaimed original language expert in Bible discussions as well.

"Meta" is an English "word": "Meta (from the Greek μετα-, meta-, meaning "after" or "beyond") is a prefix meaning more comprehensive or transcending.

It doesn't matter what the word means in other languages.

I really don't know why anyone jumped to the conclusion that Zuckerberg was referring to anything Hebrew or Aramaic. It matches Greek in the etymology better it would seem.

jaybo,

From where did you gain that meaning of "meta"?

jay,

Would you consider Wikipedia the stronghold for "self-proclaimed biblical language experts"?

I'm interested in who you consider are these "language experts" that you ignore.

Sorry, but I won't reply to this. If you want a dialogue, then be serious not sarcastic.

BTW, it's "whom" you consider. Consult your favorite grammar source.
