For a long time now in rev 13:17 when the bible talks about "noone can buy or sell unless they have the mark" I never had any proof but always thought the bible was talking about money. I couldnt really understand why I thought that. I knew it wasnt any fiat currency or credit or bank account cards. I guess I figured it would show up in the future but I wasnt sure.

So now cause of bitcoin and crypto currencies we do now have a financial product that can actually stop someone from buying or selling or even limit what you buy.

What are some thoughts about this?

Ill give a link that explains most of what a cdbc is and how it works but at the end of it read the comments. Alot of articles I found talk about the problems of cbdc's and some leave out the biggest problem with them. Also Florida in the usa is trying to ban them here in the states and everywhere else in the world and said Texas may soon follow as well.

I will agree with you here. I always felt like it was a chip also. Science is working on brain chip implants. There not working very well. They say the chips are too destructive to the brain. I think elon musk company reported they had to kill 8 monkeys cause of the damage to there brain. They will keep pushing the technology so it may be awhile before they have a good working product but time will tell if chip implants will be useful or not.

Now i see it at two things. Chip implants and cbdc's. Im not really liking how technology is progressing these days. im still questioning if all this stuff is really necessary.

When you read ecclesiastes then you see how much is really meaningless. Then you start to question, do we really need all this tech and junk we love so much???

So a candid of US president is promoting bitcoin instead of the fednow payment system launching in july. The US is still undecided to use a cbdc but some think that is the plan.

You know how these candid's will promise things and once there in they do what they want. Thing is what he is saying I think he is right but that dosnt mean he will follow thru.

The beasts are governments, Christians being no part of the world, and giving their allegiance to the Kingdom of God rather than to human governments do not have to worry about receiving the mark. Nor do they have to fear not being able to buy, as history has shown, those who seek God's kingdom first will be provided for Mat 6:33. Remember the manna?

I agree but I do see alot of issues with the way our technology is developing. Lots of speculation of how revelations will play out. Alot of that speculation in history was wrong.

I have my own speculation. I have no idea if its 100% biblical but the world acts like all this technology and knowledge will build a utopia and save us all. I just really doubt that.

Our technology as the big picture has just created more problems. Every time they seem to solve a problem they just create more and more problems.

A cbdc just cant be a good thing. Its way to much power in the hands of humans. Nothing good will develop from it.

I have heard diffrent scenarios about when the rapture will happen. In all of these god will protect his people. There seems to be an agreement on that.

The "rapture" comes when Jesus returns. 1 Thes 4:16,17. His return ends the great tribulation and begins the battle of Armageddon. Mat 24:22 shows that he returns when the earth is at the point of extinction to save those whom will be "raptured".
