2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

A little background first to show these angels that are in chains of darkness are separate from the third that followed after Satan as they too rebelled against God leaving their first estate that was their proper place in heaven. These chained angels can not be the same angels as the principalities and power of darkness still in high places under the direction of Satan, Ephesians 6:12.

1 Peter 3:18-19 Jesus never went down to hell (lower parts of the earth) to preach as scripture says He went to preach to the spirits in prison. When Jesus laid in the tomb for three days his body was dead, but His spirit was very much alive. In 1 Peter 3:19 it says Jesus being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit went and preached to the spirits in prison. The spirits in prison that Jesus went to preach to are those angels that are reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Scripture does not say what Jesus preached to them, but some speculate that He was proclaiming to these fallen angels that Satan had no victory over His death. These angels are separate from the third Satan gathered with him as these angels bound in chains kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day, Jude 1:5-7. These angels were disobedient when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah while the ark was being built, 1 Peter 3:18-19. Big difference between these chained angels and the other ones we read about in Ephesians 6:12. Notice where it says they are reserved in chains meaning they are bound by God and can no longer cause man to sin.

These other angels being a third that oppose God under the leadership of Satan as being his messengers here on earth as they too are created spirits of God that is why God could never destroy any of them because a spirit can not die. (Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1: 6; Ephesians 6:12). We often call these types of angels demons/devils/evil spirits/unclean spirits for which an everlasting fire is prepared by God for Satan and these angels, Matthew 25:41.

The term demon comes from the Greek "daimon". Demons (fallen angels) are also called evil spirits, unclean spirits and devils in scripture as they are disembodied spirits as angels have no form. The use of the terminology of demons, evil spirits, unclean spirits and devils are interchangeable in scripture as they all mean the same thing. They exist in a demonic realm as principalities, Romans 8:38, 39; Ephesians 6:12, and have a hierarchy of rulership controlled by Satan as being his messengers, Matthew 12:22-30; Mark 3:22; Luke 4:35. They have no physical form, but can viciously posses a body, Matthew 8:16-31; 12:43-45. Demons are numerous in numbering and can also speak like the Legion (2000) of unclean spirits in Mark 5:9.

Strong's Concordance: Demon
Part of speech: noun masculine
Transliteration: daimon
Definition: a demon
Usage: evil spirit, demon

As I read these verses what I see is these "angels that sinned" are done , there is no redemption coming for them . Judgement is their next destination . The word prison is not mentioned at all .

The angels are not like us humans in that we need faith to believe in God when The angels KNOW that God is The Creator of all .
The angels that sinned and did not keep their first estate were in open rebellion against God ! The angels were going for broke and all in on their desire to corrupt all of God's creation .
The angels that sinned knew what they were doing ! When we were in sin we did not understand and that is why we needed to Word of God preached to us .

I believe the "angels in chains" were originally part of the third that followed Satan , but they went further in that they sinned in a way that God would not let them do again . I agree with your last sentence.

This is from the KJV using the word prison. Maybe other translations us a different word. You are correct in saying there is no redemption for them, but only final judgement.

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

I agree.

Jude. The fallen angels are already sentenced to die. They left their place of habitation and refused to be born in the flesh. John chapter 3. Everyone must be born in the flesh one time. To make up their mind to follow satan or Jesus. Ezekiel chapter 28. Lucifer is will go into lake of fire, be turned into ashes. The fallen angels and satan are already judged to perish, their finished. Revelation chapter 20. Those who are spiritually dead will be judged by Jesus on judgement day. Anyone who declares satan their king, will follow satan into lake of fire. God is fair. Everyone decides their own fate. I told the truth.

Where does the Bible say that angels "refused to be born in the flesh"? Where does the Bible say that "Everyone must be born in the flesh one time. To make up their mind to follow satan or Jesus."? Do you think that humans exist as spirits prior to being born?

This sounds like a doctrine the Mormons believe in that we are all angels in heaven and get to choose our parents before we are born. This is nowhere found in scripture, especially in the book of John as you might be referencing John 3:5-7. Colossians 3:1-17 talks about putting on the new self in Christ.

Angels are essentially “ministering spirits,” (Hebrews 1:14) and do not have physical bodies like humans. Jesus declared that “a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have” (Luke 24:37-39). Angels are a created spirit and can never die, but those one's who are chained will be judged in final judgement and cast into the lake of fire.

This is not an attack.
I looked up strong’s word for hell and taking liberty they can’t get out of having to remain in torment.

People who are demon influenced for a season are in torment, but they can be delivered. The fallen angels have no reprieve from their tormented condition.

Mark 5 is the story of the man of the Gadarenes with a legion of demons.

Mark 5:10 kjv
10. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

Sounds like the legion of demons were stationed in that area to cause problems. Possibly because pig ownership was loved more than people.

On removal from the man the demons destroyed the pigs. Not destroyed they would move on to cause more suffering.

What am I asking? Are fallen angels chained to their destiny till the judgement?

Rat bait has enough food values to attract rats to eat poison.

Meaning a previous poster may have made one good point. Throw out the poison and keep the truth.

Separated from God the fallen angels are tied to torment till judgement?

I am not saying anything about a thousand years of binding.

Help a redneck out.

You are so right.

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

By those scriptures we read that these chained angels, Satan and all whose names were not written in the Lamb's book of life will be cast into the lake of fire being tormented for eternity.
