About 3 years ago I developed a crush on an actor in one of my favorite TV shows. Since then, I have had continual dreams about him. I confess that some are of a romantic nature. I have asked God that if I am going to be having these dreams to please keep them pure, lovely and excellent. I have been sharing the Gospel in my correspondence and have been trying to keep things "appropriate". In the meantime, I have dreams, even daydreams, where I am in a house and the layout of the house is the same in every dream. He is also there. Usually, I am there because we are snowbound, it is late and he is offering me a guestroom for the night. I tell him that I don't think that is appropriate because I don't trust myself alone with him overnight. I then wake up so I have never found out if I ever got back to my home in the snow.

Ok, well let me throw out a few things from experience and maybe we can figure it out.

1. Actors and Musicians especially - famous people - are often used to depict the Lord in dreams. I could show you examples. Doesn't mean that's necessarily the case here, but I'm throwing that out as a possibility.

2. Snow and ice are often used to depict emotional "coldness" as it were, or of "frozen" emotions. Again, no guarantee that's the case here, just that it's a common meaning for the symbolism.

So...

This could be a man the Lord is telling you you will meet, someone you have never seen yet and so he is using the image of someone you have seen who interested you. And snowbound does indeed suggest you need someone who could "thaw you out" so to speak, albeit in godliness as you suggested.

What you need to do here IMO is ask the Lord to reveal more to you about what (and who) these dreams are referring to. Ask Him specifically, and keep asking Him until you start getting responses. Recurring dreams are important. They suggest He is trying to get something over to you more emphatically. So begin praying He tells you what it is.
