Could You Pass A Citizenship Test?

Im not even from the USA, do not want to live in the USA, and I recon I could pass the test.

Ask me 3 questions and i wont cheat.

I actually surprised myself and the test also surprised me. I was not expecting 100 questions. Much bigger than I thought it would be. I also didn't expect I would pass at all but in the end I did score 90%. Could have scored 92%. Two of the questions, after I saw the correct answers, I realized I misunderstood the questions.

I just went through this with my wife. You would have to be a certified moron not to pass this test. They give you the questions, they give you the answers, they give you the words you need to be able to read, they give you the words you need to be able to write. You sit there and go over the information they give you until your brain is numb. If you do, there is no way on earth you could fail this test. It is not a test of whether you know U.S. history or can read and write English. It is merely a test of whether you are serious enough about citizenship to sit there and go over the questions and answers they give you 200 times. It's basically a big joke.

Well, that's one way to try to insult members who took the test and shared honestly the results.
Where you're wrong of course is that you do have to read English. Because it is written in English. If a person can't read English they can't take a test written in English.
That's the intelligent quotient qualifier that goes unsaid before question one. :biggrin2 Thank you for your time.

Because it was the opinion of the previous poster you quoted. Opinions don't count, a person wouod have to research to find the truth.

Last year, PoliTech, a student group at Texas Tech University went around campus and asked three questions: "Who won the Civil War?", "Who is our vice president?" and "Who did we gain our independence from?" Students' answers ranged from "the South?" for the first question to "I have no idea" for all three of them. However, when asked about the show Snookie starred in ("Jersey Shore") or Brad Pitt's marriage history, they answered correctly.
