Oh yes... I am entering into the world of credit repair. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm going to apply for a secured credit card simply for the purposes of credit building. My brother, the car salesman is gonna try and set me up a good plan for a budget ride ($9000 or so). I need positive reports on my score, badly. I'm considering the idea of bankruptcy but I don't know yet, I'm mainly diving in head-first right now into the world of credit repair and trying to find out the best solutions.

If your credit is bad, it doesn't seem wise to get more on credit.

Credit is not a good thing.. Owning some one or a company keeps us from being free...

I think good credit is very important.Without it buying anything is almost impossible.Unless you are going to pay cash for it which is always the best way to go.But who has the money tucked away to buy a new car or a home?I have excellent credit.

a literal reading of Scripture says
Rom 13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
Rom 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

An excellent book I read a couple of years ago is "The Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey. He shares how credit is not necessary and not biblical.

How is it not necessary and not Biblical?

He's right on both counts. Not necessary because it is an illusion. My dad taught me that a long time ago. Pay cash or do without. I've been in business since 1994 and do not have credit accounts at the supply houses. If I need parts or materials, then the customer gives me a down payment on the job and I go cash it, get their part and return to do the job. It has always worked out good like this. Half down, half on completion.

Not biblical in that, owe no man nothing!

Romans 13:8
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law./(KJV)

Ahh! reba beat me to it! I see that now, lol. :)
