Cut off from heavnly blessings

People rob God when they
Don't give tithes and offerings
And they don't understand why
They've been cut off From heavenly blessings
But abundant life and prosperity begins
When you prove your love to God by giving to Him

Ron Kenoly

Luke 12:33

“Sell your possessions and give to those in need. This will store up treasure for you in heaven! And the purses of heaven never get old or develop holes. Your treasure will be safe; no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it.

Who do i give it to?

Someone who already drives a 500 benz?, someone who wants a 500 benz?, or somewhere that by the time my cookie gets to the person in need theres only a crumb left?.

I can give direct the homeless a apple if there hungry, and a pocket NT if they want it, but most of the time there to drunk or high so they aint getting cash to buy more booze.

That's why I usually offer food or drink instead of money. I can pretty much tell if someone is high or drunk. Sometimes I give them the benefit of the doubt and will give a few dollars... and the reason I do this is because Ive been homeless and I know what its like.

Food is good. Exchange the 'so called' tithe money into apples, then donate. Thats the firstfruit.

Go around handing out free apples.

My Mom keeps bags of things a homeless person might need. She gives them to people with signs asking for money, or when she sees the need. It has food, a toothbrush, socks, and the like. It's a good idea, eh?

hahahahahahhaha

{still think its not a bad idea)

Yes. It is a bad idea. Lol.

Its doing alms before men. Its being a hypocrite. Its sounding a trumpet. They all watch each other donate and think blessings flow with money and they all pray together.

This goes against everything Jesus taught.

Go close the door and pray to the Father in secret. Dont do alms before men. Do your charity in secret not
before men.

And some say your robbing the Most High if you dont. This is hypocracy.

And thats just the start.

I think that if you are in agreement to have a building (and all that comes with that) then you are being a hypocrite not to support the same. Try paying your own mortgage or light bill, or insurance with a sack of apples.

The support of a building you want and use has nothing to do with you ALSO going out and feeding the poor.

That's my line of thinking.

What do you need a building for?. You can fellowship on the beach its free, or at the park. Its free. Did Jesus or any believers in scripture need a building?. Where did they teach, how did they fellowship.

Other people might even hear the gospel as there walking by. Cant do that hidden inside a multi million dollar building.

Did the apostles say ' i know, lets all put our money together and buy a piece of land for fellowship and build a material empire'.

And when in scripture did Jesus say to do alms before men and donate, and pray in mass?. He said the exact opposite.

It gos against everything the Most High taught through Christ.

Mat_21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Mar_12:35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
Mat_21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
Mat_21:23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

Luk 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions .Luk 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?

We have stories of Jesus in the Temple...
Luk 24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
Luk 24:53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Joh_8:2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them

Act_3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
Act_5:20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Other people might even hear the gospel as there walking by. Cant do that hidden inside a multi million dollar building.
totally agree

nope they din't but they did meet in buildings.. and in the temple

yup the prayer closet.. and if ya get a chance to see the movie War Room it is worth it..

It gos against everything the Most High taught through Christ.
Not quite every thing..

My point kiwidan the buildings we call churches have a place .. and so do the mountains and meadows...

And i fully believe we are the true building ..

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Proverbs 31:6-7:
"Give beer to those who are perishing, wine to those who are in anguish; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more".

It's good to know the Word of God.
It helps to stop us from being so judgmental.

I'll bet a lot of people sure do have a hard time when they read many Bible passages like that one. Jesus' world was so different from the "Reign of Rules" we have made out of Christianity.

Its all been paganised.

Can someone tell me how many times the bible and Jesus reference keeping the law?

Can someone tell me where in the bible it says pray to Jesus?. I kbow Jesus himself prayed and says to pray to the Father. Or is that not valid anymore. Jesus words.?

Can someone show me where Jesus done away with the law and because he fullfilled it we can all now live how we please under his grace and pick and choose what we like from the law.

The Most High does not change right?. So should i go tell my brother i will pay him back next week and go buy a bacon sandwich with the money.
