The pulls of the body are very strong at times. Think about the Children of Israel how they being delivered out of bondage, had a strong desire to go back.
Their deliverance was nothing short of miraculous, sound familiar. They were born into slavery in Egypt, most considered it normal lifestyle, sound familiar.
The Children of Israel, were just that, the Children of Israel. They were not called the Children of God, as the born again.
Their deliverance and change they went through and the change the child of God goes through can be compared.
On both peoples part it's an extraordinary event, but the pulls of the flesh are very strong. Most, not all, find themselves turning back from time to time.
This can be a yo-yo experience, take heart, your Father knows your hurt and He will not cast you out. You are not the first person this has happened to and rest assured you will not be the last. In fact your Father expects it, Hebrews, 10:32,

No that does not make us Christ, although His victory was our victory. In fact, we have the distinction of being 'the Church of the Firstborn.' In this Church, everyone is firstborn because we are part of that one seed, Hebrews 12:23,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Thank you for the words of true encouragement from the Word of God. This is one of the hardest points for average Joe Blow to accept and then work it into their lives.

We bang alot on what's wrong and what needs to be done, what Gods people could do to change things.sometimes we just need a word of encouragement.
I try to keep myself in check with being to cynical, but I still have a fat mouth. I need a word of encouragement just like everyone else, glad you enjoyed bless you my friend.
