Honestly, I'm quite surprised that AIG would even be dealing with the subject of Neanderthals. There wasn't any such being.

No Neandethals existed. There is plenty of evidence that they lived in Europe and parts of Northern Asia. They just assimilated into the cromagnum line or died out. Geneticly similar to have kids with us, but geneticly different to have distinct physical features.
 
As usual, AIG mangles the truth to try to make a point:

"The only reason the ability of Neanderthals to synthesize complex glues is surprising is because of the evolutionary worldview which interprets Neanderthals as less-evolved cousins of ours."

In fact, evolution shows that Neanderthals were a subspecies of H. sapiens, just as we are. There's no evidence that they were less intelligent than we are; evolutionary theory has shown them to be essentially human like us. But dishonesty is a constant with AIG. Shame on them.
