Do unborn children go to heaven?

1. Do unborn children go to heaven (abortion)?

2. Do all babies and children who die go to heaven?

Dear brother,

Psalm 139:16 reads "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

There is also a verse that supports this, namely in Jeremia 1:5 - "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee..."

I strongly hope and believe that I will meet the precious child that I lost through abortion years ago.
I know that God is merciful.

May He bless you.

Yes, and what a joyful reunion that will be.

My mom had seven of us kids. Her second, Bruce, only lived 7 months. When my mother was dying of cancer at age 71, she told my brother she was looking forward to seeing him again when she died. I have four adult kids (3 boys, 1 girl) and every time I see Bruce's baby pictures I can't imagine losing such a beautiful baby boy at only 7 months old. But we know there is hope beyond this life.

This is what David said about the child who died that he and Bathsheba had as a result of their adulterous affair:

"I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”" (2 Samuel 12:23 NIV)

Most people want to believe babies go to heaven, but there is no biblical scriptures indicating this.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV

From reading the posts on the very forum, I can say two things:

1) Only the elect go to heaven, so that means a LOT of babies don't make it.
2) When we die, we 'sleep', no one goes to heaven 'till the judgement day.

So, the answer is: "Only a few, and none of them are there yet."

Kind of depressing, huh?

Pray for wisdom! I say this not to be arrogant or rude, but out of love.

Oh, I don't believe that crap. Just making a comment on the crap theology that is allowed on this forum.

(I'm actually not in a bad mood... but the 9/11 conspiratards have used up all of my patience today.)

If the definition abortion includes women using birth control pills, forget about the abortion count in the U.S. being up to 50 million. More like into the billions or trillions. Do all abortions go to heaven? I know for us humans that seems like the fair choice. Were all of their names in the book of life before the foundation of the earth?

Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born <sup class="crossreference" value='(B)'></sup>I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations

Galatians 1:15
But when he who had set me apart before I was born,[a] and who called me by his grace
