Resisting the Devil. Satan is no friend of the Born Again Believer. The word "Devil" means "slanderer or accusers", and Satan's work is to oppress God's sons. Now the only way to resist Satins fiery darts is to resist him, "resist the Devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7), We are also told to resist sin (Heb. 12:4).
How do we do that?.... We put on the full armor of God! Fighting the Devil is not with our fist., "For it is not flesh and blood we fight or wrestle against, But against principalities, (abortion, homosexuality, greed, immorality, murder, ungodly laws, lying and the likes), against powers (that are contrary to Gods will, oppressing God's people with immoral laws), against the rulers of the darkness of this world (progressive and lying governments, local and federal), Spiritual wickedness in high places (even a blind man can see the wickedness permeating from the governments of the world) (especially in the US Government's corruption) and it is so obvious, they don't even care that you know they are corrupt. (Eph. 6:12)
Preparing for these battles is to be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might (Eph. 6:10). Putting on the full armor of God (Eph. 6:11; 13) So you can stand AGAINST the wiles of the Devil.
Eph. 6:10-17

- Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which ye shall be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked (Rom. 8:28-39)
- Taking the helmet of Salvation (Rom. 5:8-10)
- And the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God (Heb. 4:12)
