In that order but I can't watch Love Story with my kids and grandkids because they think I'm a tough guy and whe gets Cancer and dies the tears and deep breaths are going to well up and that just ruins my image.
:yes

Oh I did see the 13th floor, that was a good movie. He didn't even know he was a program either until the girl at the end. I almost didn't see that coming but I figured it out before he did, lol.

I never have liked scary movies. I used to watch Chiller Theater quite a bit but it was mostly monster movies. The only horror movie I've ever watched was...Halloween? The one with Jamie Lee Curtis in it. I watched it just for her, lol. I've always liked her (and her dad!).
Hmmm. Halloween is a no no.
You didn't like The Sixth Sense??!!

There are so many, these are a few I rewatch from time to time.
Seabiscuit
I love the horse movies and based on true story movies.
Sorry Soul Man,

I got my horses mixed up.
But we're on the same wavelength.

SEABISCUIT was a GREAT movie... not Secretariet, although that was good too.
Seabiscuit is unique.
Jeff Bridges.
Did he ever make a bad movie??
Can't remember. Don't think so.

I'm good at figuring out movies. It's terrible!
With his one I didn't know till the very end.
It deserves 4 stars just for that.
It was pretty complicated too.

:chin Considering some of the replies we get on OSAS threads, you'd think some are; they think they're responsible for keeping themselves. Sorry, I couldn't resist the opportunity. :hysterical
Eugene, the Holy Spirit walks by our side and helps us.
Otherwise we'd be like everyone else.
Some do go overboard though, and attribute everything to Jesus.
Difficult subject.
It could be an interesting thread, but I'm afraid it would be too argumentative.
Maybe one day??

But yes, some think THEY are God.

:shame

I saw it but can't remember it really well.
Should I watch it again?
What was it about?
Starman ( Jeff ) come to earth and takes human form of a young widows husband she drives hime across country. It was fairly good. I think Soulman said he liked Jeff Bridges.

Jeff bridges is a great actor.
I don't know why he's so underrated.
Maybe because it's a job to him and he doesn't care about being a movie star??
He's very private and keeps out of the Hollywood scene.
Like Paul newman, for instance.

Will watch Starman this week.

Yes Bridges is one of our greats right now. I guess my age keeps me from following some of the younger guys, seems they try to use that deep Clint Eastwood type voice. New style of acting I suppose.

Not too many around like him.
DeNiro
Pacino...
They basically act like themselves.
Some actors become a different person.

Can't think of one bad Bridges movie...
Robin Williams ... Another great actor.
