Fire and Ice

You mean like that rich plane crash victim in that movie did? (I can't remember the name of it now...)

Ya get a flat PC of river ice, añd shape it & flatten it. Then you use it like a magnifying glass to direct the suns rays onto the tinder to be igñighted...

I don't know?
Tell me about it?

Yeah, that was it. I had to Google it to remember... It was Anthony Hopkins in them Movie "The Edge". You take a piece of clear ice and rub it in your hands to shape it into a magnifying lens to capture the suns rays and focus them to a pinpoint to ignite some tinder.

I wonder if it really works. I've never cared to get my hands that cold trying to shape some ice that perfectly to see if it would work or not.

You guys are on a roll.
Okay, here's the next one.
What gets wet while it dries?
No cheating now, no cheating.

Dry ice does not get wet and dry at the same time.
Dry ice is wet and eventually dries up.
Good try though.

I use dry ice.when it thaws it draws humidity as the water condenses on it.c02,has no liquid state.it's sold when it's frozen and normally gaseous.it will be on a liquid form under pressure.

Thank you for the scientific report so that I now know better.
Do you want the answer now or do you still want to guess?

That would be...potassium chlorate?
A substance which, when you add water, combusts and burns.

I'm pretty sure its potassium chlorate, lol. School was a looong time ago.
Am I right?
You're a genius.
Now make fire come out of the top of your avatar.
