Lineman eh?
I've known a few linemen.
I'm an inside wireman myself. But I have worked in a few switchyards. I'm one of the few inside guys that can look up a pole and understand the transformer on top.

So do you travel much or do you stay pretty close to home?

Lineman don't work alone. Ever. I'm getting too long in the tooth for me to work alone anymore either. Currently I got knee problems keeping me out. But hopefully I can get back soon.

Well that's good and it's really nice to meet you but usually people sign up for forums because they like to socialize with other people even if it's just with people online.
