Love Defined (Examples)
[Luk 6:30
[30] "Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask [them] back.
[Luk 14:12
[12] Then He also said to him who invited Him, "When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.
[Jas 4:1-4, 6-10
[1] Where do wars and fights [come] from among you? Do [they] not [come] from your [desires for] pleasure that war in your members?
[2] You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
[3] You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend [it] on your pleasures.
[4] Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. ...

[3] Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
[4] He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
[5] But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

[20] For what credit [is it] if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this [is] commendable before God.
xxx The love that God created is an action. To suffer wrongfully but do it willingly. If you deserve a punishment and you receive it with patience there is no love on your part. But if you dont deserve it and you take it patiently and you suffer wrongfully for it. That is love.
God has been loving us sense the world began. We deserve to die and go to hell. But God keeps trying to make ways that we can be saved. The devil is trying to convince everyone that coveting is love, coveting is an emotion. But just like the rest of the truth about God it takes an act of God to see the difference between coveting and suffering wrongfully.
[1Jo 3:18 NKJV] 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
