Has anyone heard of the gospel of Thomas? There are no claims of Jesus' divinity, just stories and parables. It contains some that aren't in the normal bible.

Yes. It is written by gnostics, likely in the 2nd century. It is not written by thomas but, like other gnostic writings of the time was given the name of the apostle to try and give it credibility. The early church did not include it in the canon of scripture, with good reason. Don't waste your time.

I've heard of the Gospel of Thomas as well as the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. The Infancy Gospel of Thomas is some funny stuff.
