Guy/Girl Day

Today was Guy/Girl day at my school. We (guys) went off to a camp and the girls stayed at the school, and we had speakers and stuff about sex and that kind of thing. We talked about temptation for guys and how to run from it and that stuff. It was pretty cool - I learned a lot. And my school is Christian so we had like Youth leaders speak. One was really awesome - he talked in a way we could understand, 'cause he had been in a situation before he got married where he had commited sexual sin and it was like an example for us of stuff not to do, which was pretty cool. So. I'ma stop talking now.

I think that is such an awesome thing. In my middle school they didn't talk to us about things like that....but I didn't go to a christian school. I wish that we could have had something like that, they didn't even talk about sex at all til high school. And in high school they just told us to use protection. That is pretty much that's saying "go ahead kids go sleep around but make sure you use protection babies at this abe will ruin your life." That is so wrong! Schools need to teach abstinence. It breaks my heart to see the girls at my school sleeping around and getting hurt. Many of them don't know god, but even if they don't believe they still need to know that it will hurt them emotionally, but the school doesn't take that extra step to protect them.

He told us of a funny thing to do when a 'hot' (I don't use that term but a lotta people do) girl walks by, say 'look! birds!' and look up at the sky. XD

Oh and Randi - it was a middle school and high school thing.
