In my lifetime I cannot name a period when Jew hate was as prominent worldwide as it is today.

Does scripture make reference to the hatred of Jew worldwide being at certain level in connection to the end times ?

'Blood everywhere': Bondi shooting survivors recount massacre on the beach

“So many people will be living in trauma,” Rabbi Alon Meltzer told NBC News on Tuesday.

It appears to be an ethnic curse upon the Jewish People, for having been given the heritage of Faith and then turned from it. I'm certainly not saying that the Jewish People are aware of their sin in this matter. But God has instituted the cure for this in the form of the Christian Gospel, which the Jewish People as a whole are vehemently opposed to.

That being said, they are still called of God to be a nation of Faith, and I believe they will ultimately return to it. And the way the world treats them is reprehensible, whether they are under a curse from God or not.

We should certainly pray for the Jewish People, just as we would for any nation and ethnicity, but even moreso because they have borne the trouble of being associated with God's Word. We should show them the greatest forebearance and kindness and love, to hopefully reach those who are interested. And we should support them in an age in which they are once again persecuted and denied both existence and national dignity.

A person is either under God's influence or under Satan's influence. While it is true that.
Simple fact Satan hates God's chosen people. Obedient to the Gospel or not they are still have that heritage and Satan hates them for it and thus people under Satan's influence also hate them. Keep in mind, they hate us too because they hated Christ. I expect that this hatred will grow worldwide as more and more people grow deeper under the influence of Satan as they stray further and further from Judeo/Christian influence.

europa ,why is Yiddish created and this saying even though it was said under the Babylonian captivity .Hebrew for the temple ,aramiac outside, later Yiddish .

the Bible is Jewish
the prophets are Jewish
the apostles are Jewish
the Messiah is Jewish
the early church was Jewish

Perhaps we do not give them as much credit as we should.

Well said.

Romans 11:25 "Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in."

In time the natural broken olive branches will be grafted back to the olive tree.

until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in."
This is interesting: after roughly 4,000 years of Israel’s history, we enter a 2,000‑year period often described as the “time of the Gentiles.” This lines up with what science observes about human ancestry — that beyond a certain point, individual common ancestors can no longer be distinctly traced. In that sense, it highlights that Jesus went to Calvary not only for Adam and Eve, but for all their descendants. First for the children of Abraham, and then for those who were not Hebrews and not descended from Abraham — yet still part of the same human family, ultimately connected to Adam and Eve in Eden.

So 2,000 years from Adam and Eve to Abraham. 2,000 years from Abraham to Jesus, and 2,000 years from Jesus until today. WE look for the second coming.

True we look for the second coming. Your posts in this thread have made me ponder some very essential points from scripture though.

1 Corinthians 15:45 “Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” The last Adam is Jesus Christ crucified and then resurrected.

1 Corinthians 8:6 “…yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” Through Jesus Christ are all things and through whom we exist.

From first Adam to last Adam crucified 4000 years. Galatians 3:13 "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”".

From Abraham to second coming of Jesus Christ, the life-giving spirit, 4000 years as well. Galatians 3:14 "...so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith."

Yes, the Jewish People have had to pay a price for being the first "nation of God," or theocracy of faith. The fact nations rise and fall overall has nothing to do with detracting from their contribution in this regard.

To say, for example, that the French People are bad because in their Revolution they murdered many people does not take from the fact that the French People comprised one of the earliest Christian kingdoms in history. And the fact the German People had many wicked people during the reign of the Nazis does not diminish the fact Germany led the Holy Roman Empire at one time in history.

We may say the Russians are awful because they have embraced Communism while at the same time acknowledging that at one time they were a Christian People, embracing the Russian Orthodox Church. Do you see where this goes?

The fallen state of a nation of God does not diminish the fact that the people of that nation may have contributed great things before that and may rise again, given a turnabout and true repentance, bringing a pronounced change to the majority. Those holding this positive change back may have to be defeated or destroyed, but those called of God are going to produce what God called them to, one way or another.

The Jewish people have a special place in the scriptures and some of that is due to future end time events.

Of course, in the bible, we have Job 12:23 "He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away." and Daniel 2:21 "He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding."

Yet, in Daniel 12:1-4 "At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Michael is the great prince of literal Israeli people. Holy Spirit on the other hand is in charge of the faithful in Christ as their teacher. Surely, then literal Israel still has a special role to play in end times events when it will be grafted back onto the olive tree.

Also, from Zechariah 14:1-4 "Behold, a day is coming for the Lord, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward."

Lastly, Jeremiah 30:11 "For I am with you to save you, declares the Lord; I will make a full end of all the nations among whom I scattered you, but of you I will not make a full end. I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished."

The nation of Israel will survive everything and will be part of the family of nations enjoying the blessings of the millennial kingdom. Their enemies might win some battles but will lose the war.

Just to add to above. The nation of Israel is still the only nation from ancient antiquity still around clinging to its faith (Mosaic Covenant). While others have risen and fallen.

1. Ancient Kingdom of Egypt – Gone (No current Egypt with its Islamic faith does not count)
2. Ancient Kingdom of Assyria - Gone
3. Ancient Kingdom of Babylon – Gone
4. Ancient Kingdom of Persia – Gone (Again, current Iran with its Islamic faith does not count)
5. Ancient Kingdom of Alexander and Four Dynasties after that – Gone
6. Roman Empire – Last time it reared its head was under Mussolini and Hitler. No need to further debate this and talk about their approach to the Jews.

Anyway, blessings to all of you. Just giving some food for thought.

Do you see where this goes?
Interesting perspective. I wonder about Vietnam. I have been impacted by the Holocaust and by Vietnam. I do not see why people feel a need for war and mass destruction. Clearly, we are told we are to love our enemy. Even some people say we have to love everyone in Heaven if we want to get in. That there are no two people there that do not love each other.

Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek. Jesus is “a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek”(Psalm 110:4 → Hebrews 5–7). This means:
  • Jesus’ priesthood does not come from Levi.
  • Jesus’ priesthood is older than the Law.
  • Jesus’ priesthood is higher than the Law.
  • Jesus’ priesthood is based on God’s oath, not genealogy.
  • Jesus’ priesthood is eternal, not temporary.

Absolutely, I stand corrected.

He is a priest and a king... or in this case The King.

God has always called out specific individuals, specific families, and specific nations to represent Him in His purposes. Certainly not all who are called follow through with obedience to their commission, and so not all are chosen.

God started out by calling Israel as a single nation to serve His purposes at that time. Israel fell, but can be restored in the future. Since Christ, God has reached out, largely, through the Roman Empire, the 4th King of Dan 2 and 7. Via colonialism the Europeans have evangelized many countries outside of Europe.

I do think we're close to the end of the process. Christian Civilization is collapsing, although not totally. I'm praying for continued progress in the New Year. HNY

The deadly wound came in 1798 when General Berthier of France, who made his entrance into Rome, abolished the Roman government and established a secular one and captured Pope Pius VI, who soon died in captivity in Valence, on August 29, 1799. In 1801 Napoleon made an agreement with Pope Pius II establishing Napoleon s Organic Articles of granting the Tribunal and the Corps legislative partial control of the concordat in order to help the state monitor any politically harmful Catholic or Protestant movements or activities. The wound was largely healed in 1929 when Mussolini gave the Vatican back to Pope Pius XI and established it as a country in it's own right in the Lateran Treaty.
