Healing, Miracles

Do you believe in the miraculous healing, or miracles? Or God healing you? What do you believe.

Someone made an interesting comment I think we can talk about here. It seemed as if they didn't believe in healing. Do you believe it at least exsisted? Or if it still exsists today? Do you believe in the miraculous today?

I do, I will provide scritpure later.

Yes!

My sister had 3 fractures in her leg, and she was healed.
My grandma's arm was broken, was healed, but her doctor wouldn;t believer her so they put a cast on her arm. The next morning when my grandma woke up the cast was lying beside her w/o a crack in it.
My principles wife had a limp and he watched as her leg grew an inch or two(can't remember exactly how much it was short)

So yes, I should say that I believe in miracles.

I will provide scripture once people respond (more people.)

But I know one thin, I do believe in miracles. I could write a book on all the miracles I have witnessed and recieved in my own life (a REALLY big book)

lol, would you mind sharing some? I love hearing miracle stories.

I don't remember htis one, btu when I was born, I was 2 and a half months premature. (And a month before that my mom almost died with me in her, the doctor told her friends to go say your last goodbyes, literally. My mom didn't know what was going on tho.)

Anyway, I was born blind and deaf. They said I was mentally retarted sorta. But basically blind and deaf. God healed me from being blind and deaf and mentally retarted.

My friend, once, died. (Under water 7 minutes) when revived, they said he would be a vegetable. three weeks later, after much prayers, bad reports, he was completely hole and healed.

That's awesome! Isn't God awesome?!?!?!

Here's another one.
MY mom was pregnant w/ my sister. About 2 months along I think, and she gets this horrible pain and she goes to the doctors to see what happened. The doctor told my mom that she had lost the baby. So my mom had an abortion done to get the baby out. She was in Oklahoma at the time, and my mom was crying all the time so my dad flew her back home to Michigan. After about a month or something like that my mom went back to the doctors because she was feeling sick. The doctor told her that she was 4 months pregnant. Now how pray tell had my sister survived? God protected my big sister. The doctors were concerned that she might be missing limbs or fingers and toes because of the abortion, but she's perfectly healthy.

So the abortion didnt work? AMAZING!

Now I wanna hear what other people believe.

surprised to see no replys.

Well, it's sorta difficult to respond with anything other than what you've already presented. God can do whatever He chooses to do whenever He chooses to do so. I more had the feeling that you were going to refer to some kind of charismatic 'faith healing' incidents. If so, THAT might be a different story.

God certainly can and does heal those that he chooses.

There is a problem existent in many churches today though. There are some that use the 'appearance' of healings to further others beliefs in 'them'.

There are NO apostles in this present generation. There is NO NEED for the 'Benny Hindis' to 'prove' that God exists. We are to live and worship by 'faith', not miracles. The 'signs' that this generation seeks have already been given and our 'signs' that 'prove' the existence of Father and Son are inward and "NOT" outward signs now.

The anti-Christ is amongst us a this very moment. We were warned that there would be 'lying wonders, miracles, etc...' performed through this 'spirit'. I personally believe that 'anyone' that 'must' have these types of signs in order to 'prove' the existence of God are setting themselves up for deception through this spirit of anti-Christ.

I also believe that if these 'modern apostles', with their 'gifts' of healing really existed, then they would/should be in the hospitals offering this 'gift' instead of standing on stages charging for it.

What do you mean by charismatic 'faith healing' incidents. I'm one of those so called charasmatics.

Imagican,
Yes we do need to be careful of those who don't use the power of God to heal people.

Faith with out works is dead.

God has given people the gift of healing. People w/ this gift are not Genes who can heal people at will. Mybe they are not supposed to be in a hospital. Mybe that is not God's will for them. Mybe they are supposed to be on stage healing someone. We shouldn't question where God wants us to go.

If you are talking about healing by faith, taht IS waht im talking about.

God doesn't choose who to heal, he has already ehaled everyone. His word says by Jesus' stripes we ARE healed. Not WILL BE. AREA. It's faith. With faith anything is possible.

So define charasmatic faith healings
