How do you learn?

I was just wondering how other college students prefer to learn. i hate classes where the teacher lectures the whole time and I just sit there and listen. My Business Management teacher is awesome because you don't know what you are going to be doing in each class. It's always a suprise. Anyway, just want to know what people prefer.

I'm actually a lecture based student. God has blessed me with the ability to listen and remember what is said to me. I can't do the same thing with notes or reading.

To truly learn something I have to do it, or have a reason for what I'm doing. If it is just information for storage I'm like brutus, I hear it then write notes and I have it. I'm not a group activities type of guy.

I guess the best way for me to learn is by physical interaction. A much more practical way though is by lecture. A lot more information can be covered that way (vs. trying to get a student to experience something).
