What the Son of God received from the Father, was to make the Son's soul and offering for sin, it please the Lord to bruise the Messiah, and satisfied the Father that the Son of God bore the iniquities of many.
That glorified the Father on earth through the Son, as Christ completed the work the Father gave Him. ( He died on the cross and rose again.)
What was given for the Apostles of the Lord, is the same continued gifts, of great things they must suffer for His names sake, for to us it is given, in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on His name, but also to suffer for His sake.
Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have
finished the
work which thou gavest me to do.
Acts 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must
suffer for my name's
sake.
Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to
suffer for his
sake;
Now speaking about the redemption in Revelations. ( the works of Christ suffering for us, the Apostles suffering for the name of Christ, and all who receive from the Father, suffer in the behalf of Christ.)
Christ redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us. ( what the Messiah received from the Father was the suffering of His soul being made an offering for sin.)
Galatians 3:13 Christ hath
redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Revelation 5 shows the redemption ( and suffering of Christ for us) how the lamb of God was slain for us. ( to open the book of life which was sealed with the curse.)
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
The redeemed ( sincere believers in Christ.) sing the new song, ( belief of salvation of Christ. Psalm 118:14. Isaiah 12:2) how Christ was killed, to redeem us to God, His blood for all nations.
Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
No man can learn the new song before the throne, but the redeemed from the earth. Not defiled with women, virgins, redeemed from among men.
Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were
redeemed from the earth.
Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were
redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
The Apostle Paul showed how we are espoused to one husband, to b presented to Christ as a chaste virgin.
But the Apostle feared of the serpents beguiling in subtilty, to corrupt our minds from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
