[__ Prayer __] hurricane Dorian

its that time again, everyone...

Hurricane Season! ugh.

Please pray for everyone who will be affected by what looks to be a massive storm. If I'm not mistaken, the Governor of Florida has already declared a state of emergency, to get funds and supplies flowing in...good call, of course.

thanks, y'all. :)

Driving from Nashville to Southern Georgia yesterday I seen several convoys of lineman trucks...(trucks used to install power lines and poles)
Also several emergency command center mobile offices and flatbed trucks loaded with generators. All headed south to Florida through Georgia.
But now they are saying that the Hurricane is going to hit the Carolina's. So...dunno.

Currently it's only a category 1.

Seems like a lot for a little.

I'm in central florida. Was hoping it would make a u-turn and head back out to sea but looks like it will stay off the coast which means it won't weaken. They are saying we should prepare for heavy rain and damaging winds and since its a slow moving storm it could be prolonged wind and rain.
I've got sandbags, tons of batteries and have been working on packing stuff away in my shed so my recycling bins don't turn into projectiles. Its better to be safe than sorry!

The computer models show long term its going all the way up the East Coast next week so this could effect multiple states.

If the eye stays off shore the strength of it won't be as bad .Matthew did this and we saw some winds but not as bad as it could have been
