[__ Prayer __] I am not sure what i am doing... but here it goes!

ooooooook, so. with my recent understanding of prayers - thanks to some helpful board members - I have come to the conclusion that it may be best if i would ask to receive some prayers from the christian community.

I have never been through confession or been forgiven (that i know of) by jesus and i have sinned plenty according to the bible. Soooo, I figure the closest thing i can get right now is from a few prayers from the friendly members of the board :D

So i have prepared this nice long list after 20 some years of life that i am willing to share with everyone here in hopes of some kind of help or support. Now i may be wrong about a few of these so bear with me. so here it goes!:

To seek forgiveness you must first realize sin and who was sent to die for your sins so you could be forgiven. Have you confessed faith? Are you saying you want to confess faith?

Yes... thats why i admitted it and am hear to learn. Perhaps being more forgiving and productive would help me in my little quest instead of offensive posts (even if they were not meant to be offensive, they could easily be taken as such). I have had a few other members give me a hard time on the forum be they were mature enough and Christian enough to realize what they may have been doing. I hope you come to that realization as well be be more christ-like as your bible teaches.

I haven't tried picking fights or putting people down, i have never intentionally insulted anyone and I have always been as respectful as i could be to everyone here. my only flaw - apparently - is that i have yet to see god. and even then i still seek him. Why exactly do i deserve such hate?

And i do also realize that if i seek forgiveness, i must not only realize sin, but jesus as well. Unfortunately, even though i have already come to much realization here on the forums, i havent yet realized who died for our sins.

OOOOK, you have listed a lot a different types of sins. But did you know that Jesus took the place of the punishment for those sins by the sacrifice of his life on the cross. WE as born-again Christians can NOW give all our sins to Christ on the cross. Our sins are nailed to the cross. WE, when we accpt Christ as our SAVIOR (save us FROM those sins, to go and sin nor more, by the grace of God given to us, we are able to walk sin-free when we allow Holy Spirit to be Lord, to rule over us, to deliver us FROM temptation to commit sin. It is done through the same Holy Spirit that was/is alive in Christ, is alive in us, working through us. The Holy Spirit becomes our renewed mind-set. We leave the thoughts of our past sins behind, we take on the Holy Spirit and walk IN Him, in His character, His attributes are working through us. IF we listen to His voice (do not ignore conscience that whispers in our minds eye to stop the sin) WE cannot commit to sin. How can anyone commit to sin when they are IN obedience to the voice of Holy Spirit that says to don't do that? They cannot sin. We are "children" in the process of GROWING in HIS HOLY SPIRIT. We give as He gives to us. We choose to Not sin because we are made aware of the consequences of sin well enough to NOT want that. It is a work in progress. You have to accept that fact that we are all learning, growing... No one is perfect here. Only the Holy Spirit is perfect. We aspire to live IN HIS HOLINESS. We do not focus on the sins, we know our sins are forgiven when we accepted Christ into hour hearts. KNOW THAT YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN when you accept HOLY SPIRIT TO COME LIVE INTO YOUR HEART. We all fall every once in awhile, but we are picked up by our Loving Father and continue on.... The Story of Prodigal Son is a good example of the fogiveness of God. Paul was a persecutor of Christians before he was struck by the Holy Spirit and came to the Salvation of Christ.

Since you posted that long list of 'sins', I'll post for you a list of 365 scriptures that show the forgiveness, the attributes, the Character and the LOVE of God. They are yours for the taking.... All you have to do is take them into your heart and hold tightly onto them, knowing the when you focus on those words/truths that no one can take that away from you! You live by those words/truths rather than choosing to live by the condemnation that looking at all those sins does to you. Conviction of sin is one thing, we learn to walk away from all those behaviors, But when we know we are forgiven by Christ Holy Spirit of Jesus we can be assured that His Mercy is working in and through us. His forgiveness is working in and thorugh us, His Grace is working in and through us, His Patience is working in and through us, His LOVE is working in and through us, We are all a WORK IN PROGRESS.

I will post the list of 365 Scriptures in the next two postings... Grab onto them and keep them in your heart. Fill your heart with them.

I am still unsure about that JoJo. I do admit that i have done bad things in my life, and all of the sins that i listed that are included in the bible. it is still comforting, however, to receive forgiveness whether it be from god, my fellow woman and men, or the ones who believe in something which i seem to have clearly done the wrongs of according to its sacred words and yet a belief i have respect for. I feel as if i have unintentionally hurt the people who believe in this as well as their god. I feel as if i should ask for forgiveness from at least the ones i know are there to forgive. respectively

As for the prayers, i am sure i have already been prayed for by many here, but with my further curiosity on sin (and my realization on how many sins i have really committed) i feel as if i need as many prayers as i could get (not in a greedy way of course, but you know what i mean )
