If you could make one law....

This is One nation, under God..... not under a God....under the God of Abraham, Jacob and Issac......and all who want to live here must adapt themselves to our language and our God. Not the other way around.

Eve777: That's a whole constitutional amendment right there... such as removing the first amendment from the Bill of Rights.

Lower the drinking age to 16 in order to allow teenagers to know their limits on alcohol better, rather than letting them drive first and drink later. This way they'll act more responsible with alcohol, and not feel like it's some special thing to drink (which is why most teens chug). Also a prime example of why Germany has a better alcohol related accident rate as opposed to the USA.

That's absurd. Let's just have more people get drunk and die. How about we just ban alchohol period?

It shows in statistics my friend.

And why not ban it? Because I enjoy it, and I like the right I have to make my own choices instead of the collective government taking those rights away. I drink quite responsibly. Those who do not dig may be left to dig their own graves, and seek help at their discretion. We cannot keep babying people all the time.

Let us not forget that prohibition in itself bred the mafia.

If you are drinking alchohol, I assume you are over 21. Therefore, I am going to I ask that you don't post in this forum any longer.

Actually no, I am seventeen years old. 9/24/87

I don't buy it myself, and I do not drink to get drunk. I rarely drink over two beers if any. I indeed enjoy the way it tastes. I've legally drank all across Europe, and in America at an Irish Wake once.

I have never been wasted, and am quite responsible.

Banning Alcohol and smoking would be impossible anyway because they are to deeply entrenched into society. Plus, as someone said, "good intentions" lead to the mafia gaining a true foothold when alcohol was banned back in the 20's.

If I could make a law though...its a rather tough question...for here, probably allow gay marriage, whether its an abomination against god or not, after all eating shell fish is apparently an abomination and thats legal.

That was under the law. We are under Grace and any thing can be eaten if we give thanks or as my Mama says, "Don't forget to bless your food".. There is no longer clean or unclean food.. It is all good in the eyes of God as nourishment for our bodies.

Signed Eve,,,,who lives on the Coast and knows all about the taste of crabs boiled in crabboil mix with corn on the cob and little red skinned potatoes with a few onions thrown in for flavor...and maybe a few shrimp and a handful of crawfish.....Talk about thankful.. :D

~ Presercation of all human life ~!!!!
HUMAN LIFE: any human life after conseption.
