No, it is not OK to join paganism to God.Is it OK to join Paganism to God?
You tell me.
Are you thinking about becoming a Pagan Christian ?Is it OK to join Paganism to God?
You tell me.
No, not at all.Are you thinking about becoming a Pagan Christian ?
Why have so many who profess Christ joined Paganism to Christianity? No, it is not OK to join paganism to God.
Their profession is false. Why have so many who profess Christ joined Paganism to Christianity?
I think maybe they make light of such things. In other words, no big deal.Their profession is false.
Maybe no big deal to pagans.I think maybe they make light of such things. In other words, no big deal.
Well said.Maybe no big deal to pagans.
But a dig deal to those who have renounced paganism in order to submit to Christ.
Would you please explain, where have Christians joined paganism to Christianity? Is it OK to join Paganism to God?
You tell me.
Christmas has nothing to do with Christ birth, and Easter is a Pagan holiday. There is about a weeks difference between Easter and Christ resurrection.Would you please explain, where have Christians joined paganism to Christianity?
The prophets regularly denounced the synceistic ways of the Israelites, if God prompted them he will also be prompting those who are sensitive to his spirit to denounce it today among Christians
Thank you for posting your concerns.Christmas has nothing to do with Christ birth, and Easter is a Pagan holiday. There is about a weeks difference between Easter and Christ resurrection.
Then there is the Pagan Sunday Sabbath. The first Christians kept the Saturday Sabbath that God commanded.
Constantine's first Sabbath law.
On March 7, 321, Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday the day of rest from labor, stating: "All judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun."
Sabbath Judaizers
The Council of Laodicea of around 365 decreed 59 laws, #29:
“Christians must not Judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.”
Originally the Judaizing Christians had the letters of the Disciples. After the Catholics killed off the original Christians, they then proclaimed themselves to be the true Christians.
They burned the original letters and made copies that were suitable to their beliefs.
Easter is the name of a Pagan goddess and eggs and rabbits are associated with her. Christ died on Friday before the Seventh day Sabbath began. The bible says so. He also stated that he would be in the grave for three full days and nights. That means that his resurrection did not come until after Monday evening.Thank you for posting your concerns.
Yes we don't know when Jesus was born and the early church used the period when numerous beliefs had a celebration as when to celebrate Jesus's birth.
A pagan celebration? Certainly it is now with very little in the publick events that is Christian.
So what would you have Christians do?
Be like the J W who don't publicly celebrate anything, or would you have Christians celebrate an event in Christianity and use it as a means of evangelism.
Ultimately it is God's judgement that matters, as Paul said we have to be convinced in our minds that we are serving, worshipping God.
Easter please read this article that says from Tyndales translation of the bible today there has been no pagan association with Easter.
Easter and Good Friday: questions and answers
Some claim that the word ‘Easter’ is derived from a pagan goddess, and others claim that Jesus must have been crucified on a Wednesday. Read Dr Sarfcreation.com
Sunday, we worship God not on the day of the sun, but on the first day of the week in memory of when Jesus rose from the dead.
Again if you are convinced this is wrong seek out those who agree with you and worship with them.
Sunday is recognised as the Christian day of worship and we can use it to both worship in Spirit and in Truth and as a way of evangelising.
