statements off the top of my head.
if I lay down my life I will pick up my life again.. Thomas said to Jesus, My Lord and MY GOD.
Right, my brother.
Look at that too (NKJV). The SON of God is
OUR CREATOR:
In the beginning was the Word (JESUS/the SON of GOD), and the Word was with God, and the Word (JESUS/the SON of GOD) was God. 2 He (JESUS/the SON of GOD) was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him (JESUS/the SON of GOD), and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him (JESUS/the SON of GOD) was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
14 And the Word (JESUS/the SON of GOD) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son (JESUS/the SON of GOD), whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom (JESUS/the SON of GOD) also He made the WORLDS; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Hebrews 1
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the FORM of God, did not consider it robbery to be EQUAL with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man JESUS/the SON of GOD) also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
1 Corinthians 15
15 He (JESUS/the SON of GOD) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him (JESUS/the SON of GOD) all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him (JESUS/the SON of GOD) and for Him (JESUS/the SON of GOD). 17 And He (JESUS/the SON of GOD) is before all things, and in Him (JESUS/the SON of GOD) all things consist. 18 And He (JESUS/the SON of GOD) is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Colossians 1
For to which of the angels did God ever say:
“You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
Hebrews 1
God said to His Son:
“I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”
“Let all the angels of God worship Him.”
God said to His Son:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
God the Father called His Son as GOD too. They are EQUAL.
God said to His Son:
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
They will perish, but You remain;
And they will all grow old like a garment;
Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not fail.”
But to which of the angels has He ever said:
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?
Yes God said to His Son:
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!" Psalm 110
