Agree, and I've stated so in a previous post in almost the same words. The natural immune system produces anti-bodies to neutralize the virus. The resulting antibodies will not necessarily be equivalent to the vaccine induced anti-bodies. And there are studies that indicate that the natural immune response is more reliable and effective than the induced response which, as I understand, produces a more specified response (leading to less effective long term results?).
I've thought about that as well, simply because mRNA targets the spike protein that attaches to our cell. In dumbed down terms, I believe In and of itself, the spike protein isn't a real threat as far as what Covid does. It's what the spike protein turns into which allow the virus to do it's destructive work.

Knowing this, it seems to me that the immune response your body naturally creates toward Covid is targeting a different aspect of the virus.

When I think about mRNA targeting the spike protein, I think the pro's to this approach allows for broader mutations within Covid since the spike protein shows very little mutation where as the core of the virus can radically change. Perhaps the con might be that it prevents the immune system to create any immunity toward the destructive elements within the virus???

I actually think China is a bigger threat to the US being forced into communism than any political party, college or protest would ever be.
Always hard to put your finger on the cause of change in a large population ... but I think the indoctrination of pliable children (including especially universities) is the foundation for change. The seeds you sow determine the crop you harvest.

Hmm, not to often I have reason to praise the Jehovah Witnesses

I'm not discounting our universities, nor scoffing at the far left by any means. The USA is rapidly changing in a direction that I don't like.

I don't know anyone who just goes to the doctor for no reason at all.

Please be honest.

He probably sensed something was wrong and made an appointment to check it out...

Blood pressure has no symptoms nor does high cholesterol,

The former symptoms mean you would per your logic wait until a stroke happened .

You change your oil in your car ,have it inspected to find what is good?

Yet we can't do that with our bodies ?

My eyes long ago as I was told were near sighted .I saw perfect because my eye muscles can correct for it and the doctor said in my 40s that would change and it has .

A simple eye exam 28 years ago told me that . Army physicals are mandated

Can get worse her levrixin is 150mcg ,I'm at 25.she told me she didn't take her meds and that's why she has it so high .

Your immune system and all other functions are controlled by that gland .

A person doesn't need to be sick for a doctor to look at them

I agree.

If a person feels they need to see a doctor then they should.

If the person is not sick then they don’t need the doctor to treat them.

I thought surely this would be easy for us all to agree upon. :shrug

That’s what I get for thinking.

My high cholesterol does. It makes me lack energy.

Jesus didn’t say… you can only see a doctor after you get sick.

The point He was making is… people who have sin, need a Savior.

No! That is not how it works. Going to a doctor for a checkup is not treating them. They are going to see if things that could be silently killing them have sprung up. Things like high cholesterol or hypertension, etc.

You won't know if you have these things until you go see a doctor and get tested.

I am done discussing this with you as you are being disingenuous, purposely dishonest, or purposely obtuse!

I have let your derogatory comments slide, because this is challenging subject and seems to get people stirred up.

Please, don’t call me any more names.

You are purposely being obtuse. High cholesterol has no outward signs. There is a reason why it is called a silent killer. I was in my 30s with energy for days when I was diagnosed with high cholesterol. I had no clue! There were no symptoms, however, going to the doctor for a checkup and routine bloodwork caught it.

You are dangerously telling people that they do not need to see a doctor for a checkup.

The point is NOT people have no right to get a check up from a doctor.

Try to have a discussion without using derogatory names, or titles against me or others.

JLB

They are not names or titles, they are words for your actions.

Obtuse is an adjective. Disingenuous is also an adjective. Dishonest is another adjective. I put words to your actions, nothing more.

adjectives
  1. a word or phrase naming an attribute, added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.

The point is, people who are not sick don’t need a physician to treat them.

You truly do not understand the point at all.

You are dangerously telling people to avoid going to the doctor until you feel unwell. That is a recipe for disaster and will likely get someone seriously injured.

Your are literally being dishonest .

Those are about sin but you allude to avoiding a vaccine you don't trust and contorting this verse to mean that it's about your position.

I'm not perfect .I filed bankruptcy under trump .I learned then how little power I have over saving or earning money .yet I save and work .

Fiat money is worthless .trump or Biden can't promise tomorrow .I can save and do what I can .but only God provides .

That wouldn't surprise me (Christian Privilege?), but, my son's explanation was full of Christian reasoning and bible verses. I know another gal that gave a Christian explanation and was exempted.
Having read theologians and Christian philosophers on the issue, as well as my own study, there are no Bible verses I can find, nor any Christian reasoning I can think of, that would exempt a Christian from taking one of these vaccines. Now I am curious as to what exactly was said.

Could be both places exempted anyone that asked. Who knows.
This seems to be the most likely answer. I have read of a couple of doctors getting in trouble for giving religious exemptions that weren't warranted.
