It's a constant concern. There had been several scares the last 20 years, covid19 was the varient that finally made it to levels we had prepared for. That's why many were upset with President Trump with his handling with the CDC.

Can you explain what you mean by prepared?, because as far as it has spread worldwide its like no country was prepared and it was not contained.

Some countries even had time to completely lock there boarders down and do quarentine for some who do enter from the first known cases before it even entered the country.

Im just not sure what you mean by saying made it to levels you had prepared for.

Ah, what I mean is that for several presidential administrations the cdc was funded to research and prepare to mobilize incase of a pandemic. Covid did take everyone by surprise. The concern was that as a world trade hub, the US should have been more on the ball.

It all starts with the boarder of a country because its the first line of protection and defence in the name of safety and security.

Last time i said i was pro boarder i got labelled a racist.

This was before 19. Its not like they were invested with the goal to somehow jab the entire world or anything. They must have been so upset when the pandemic hit the world.

In our case, the US waited until after the EU shut down travel before we shut it down. The larger problem is that the Trump administration dropped the ball when it came to maintaining readiness and cdc funding.

Before 19 Trump was trying to build a wall to seal the vulnerable gaps and make sure everyone who enters the country does so legally and goes through boarders security that includes bio security in the name of the countries safety and security.

What is the world doing now?. Making sure everyone enters there country legally and goes through bio security in the name of safety and security. I never seen so many walls in my life. Walls everywhere. States with walls against other states, walls even between thy neighbour and thy family. Freedom of movement has never been more restricted.

I voted yes (but only if you have it). Furthermore, I think the anti-vaxxers, spreading fear, doubt and hesitancy for no good reason I can fathom, deserve whatever they get.

Best wishes, 2RM.

And I think you who take the vaccine deserve whatever you get.

I have yet to receive a vaccine of any type that did not sting when it was injected.
Maybe you're just a sensitive guy. 😉 My shoulder was quite sore for a few days after the first dose, but the nurse did wonder out loud if the needle had been a bit dull (maybe it didn't go in as easily as usual).

The vaccines are effective for helping to prevent serious outcomes, reducing hospitalizations and deaths, as well as reducing the spread of the virus. The data are clear that they are much safer than getting COVID.

I have decided its time. I will probably get my first jab this week. At my own choice of course. As i have always said i have never been against it i just dont like to feel pressured and i do things in my own time when im ready. I personally feel ok to get one. I will see my doctor this week and just make sure im all good to get one.

Here is the latest VAERS report about deaths, hospitalization, injuries and like from the COVID Vaccine.

It is estimated that these numbers only reflect about 10 % of the actual total.
