I find this interpretation concerning because I have seen it used against Christians as well. The context for both faiths is that through devotion to your faith their will be a reward in the after life.
I would say the main difference are doctrin based and focusing on trying to contort religions into extreme metaphor is more likely to repell converts and only serves to solidify the base and already committed.

Islam has the same concept Christianity has about the world persuicuting true belivers.
The issue isn't whether "you" would point the gun, but that there are those that would on both sides. Both sides can also find references in their holy texts to justify it.

There is a big difference, most oppression of muslims is political, like in China or in Russa, religous perscution is happening im Maymer and in India, Christian perscution. I'm not aware of any.

Not really. It's literally just a comic about being persecuted for being a Christian. On its own its not special because it's a very rare of a situation to begin with.
There is also issues of boggotry where people seem to be ignorant of how Islam also has many offshoots and denominations similar to Christianity. There are fundamentalist and more liberal forms of Islam.
Historically it has happened, the big difference is that theocracy are less likely to be Christian because most formally Christian theocracies have embraced more secular principles.
Only if we are talking about theocracies.

Just want to let you know that CF.net is about lifting up and edifying each other with the word of God. When all things are taught of truth that comes from the scriptures and these truths are found in you then you will not believe the false doctrines of devils that are out there. Many will be seduced by the lies of the devil, but if we concentrate more on the works of the Lord, taking the Gospel truths to the world then there will be no excuse for those who would rather believe a lie and be damned for not having any truth found in them.
I see it as we exposing the truths of the Gospel message than exposing the lies of the devil. We are not here to attack false religions or those who are seduced by it, but to bring the message of the Gospel to them in hopes of their salvation in Christ Jesus.

We have had many Muslims come here as we shared the Gospel with them and they left accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. All things are done according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, not by personal vendettas.
