no one loves pizza more then I, I don't like pizza hut el all much. if they make it by hand its all the better.

I was stationed near Tacoma , Washington. I have been to Olympia, Seattle, Bremerton, Snohomish,Everett, Yakima training center(near Hanford nuke storage site and Yakima). Vancouver, and a few other places.

I've seen & explored the same areas, besides the eastern half of the state as well. I like the state ... just haven't had chance to return in the past few years.

stovebolts is from that state, he grew up in Spokane.

The Eastern part of Washington like Pullman or Spokane.They have a different terrain and climate than we do.
 
Now you tell me! Why didn't I know of any of these lovely Washingtonians when last I traveled that state?????

That's part of the reason why I like Washington State. Wenatchee, Oroville, Colville - the north & eastern sides - are quite different than along the Puget Sound. Lovely!

Puget Sound is really nice.I have taken a trip with my family on a ferry through the San Juan Islands.Stayed a couple of days on Orcas Island.It is beautiful and a good view of the whales if you go at the right time of year.

I have ferried across the straits of san juan de fuca from port angeles to Victoria, B.C. the Puget sound is polluted. not that the lagoon here doesn't smell but it has nothing on what I recall about that sound.

I can attest to just how delicious those pizzas are, Kathi. Should you ever make it to my part of Illinois, I'll be more than glad to treat you to some of THE BEST pizza ever!

That picture is of a 'personal' size pizza.... it's still enough to feed 3 or 4 people (depending on whether the yummy bread sticks are ordered as well). The leftovers are grand the following day as well :thumbsup
 
Papa Del's - the original store is on the edge of the U of I campus ... another location is on the southwest corner of Champaign.

a chain? ok, noted, not all chains are bad. I prefer cap's pizza here and vittorios, the Italian kitchen and also marottas. all are owned or do things the Italian way. though I don't think vittorios sells silician pizza
