I would answer by asking the question if the law of attraction is a God given scriptural doctrine. To me the following statement taken from WikipediA suffices to ignore the grace of God, and put the responsibility upon us for our lack of faith.

Does it glorify God or man if it succeeded?

Next thing I see as the result of new thought is that they will soon be chanting Oumming Ommmm, Ommmm, Ommmm while being deep in meditation. I watch some game shows and at times someone will want all in the audience to think positive to develop an environment of conducive influence. Who is it to influence?

The law of attraction is the name given to the maxim "like attracts like" which in New Thought philosophy is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life.

I read your link Eugene, but it was a little hard to understand.

The reason I don't really believe is because I love God, and I love that He loves me. I love that He's a being and not a force.

It is attractive, the law, because it tempts you with the false hope that you can have ANYTHING you want in life... But it also says everything that's come into your life you attracted.

I didn't attract my mental illness, etc.
 
New age stuff is to be rejected, period!! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Zoe Life. With Jesus, you can't go wrong. Walk with Jesus on His narrow road. The "New Age" philosophy is the way of destruction because it's a walk on the "wide road" with the enemy of our souls. It's a counterfeit truth, and new age stuff is death, not life.

Ok.I woukd have posted any information on the storms as I have family who were closer to it.Hermine hit the pan handle. I'm way south and east of that.if it was to come east about where the cape is then yes I woukd be in its path.

Lol.I work for the gubbernment.we have hired legal aliens .one man went to renew his license and found out he wasn't a citizen had to become one.
