Lazarus - The Blood Moons – And The Rapture

Is there is a hidden connection between the story of Jesus Christ resurrecting Lazarus (John Chapter 11) and the phenomenon of the Blood Moons.

Here is a good short recap of the Blood Moons from the Christian Post written by John Hagee.....

http://www.christianpost.com/news/i...t-of-four-blood-moons-occurs-april-15-117957/

In the story of Lazarus Jesus Christ waited before appearing to Mary the sister of Lazarus who summoned Christ to help save Lazarus who was near death. Upon arriving Jesus found that Lazarus had died and his body had already been placed in a tomb for 4 days. Jesus then proceeded to resurrect Lazarus!

Could the 4 days that Lazarus was in the tomb before Jesus Christ arrived be a hidden prophetic sign that correlates to the Four Blood Moon Tetrads that have occurred since 1493-94. ( Tetrad - a series of four consecutive blood moons)

From the Christian Post.......

The Four Blood Moons of 1493–94 announced the Edict of Expulsion, which banished from Spain all Jewish people who, despite being tortured, refused to convert to Catholicism during the Spanish Inquisition. But their tears ended in triumph when Christopher Columbus found a haven for Jews around the world: America.

The Four Blood Moons of 1949–50 followed the birth of the State of Israel, in which God gathered the Jewish exiles from the nations of the world and brought them home to the land of covenant as foretold by the Old Testament prophets.

The Four Blood Moons of 1967–68 coincided with the Six Day War, when the city of Jerusalem was finally reunited with the State of Israel. Today, Jerusalem is more than the country's "undivided capital"it's where Christ was crucified for the sins of the world and where He will return to rule a global kingdom that will never end.”

Currently we are in the 4thoccurrence of a Blood Moon Tetrad that will conclude with the last of the 4 blood moons on September 28th, 2015.

Additionally this year is Shemitah year. The significance of a Shemitah year is explained here.....

http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/2014/September24/241.html

I contend that the resurrection of Lazarus is representative of the rapture and the 4 days that Lazarus was in the tomb before he was resurrected by Jesus Christ correlates to the phenomenon of the 4 Blood Moon Tetrads. Since we are near the end of the 4thBlood Moon Tetrad I believe that the Rapture will occur in and around the final blood moon of this Tetrad on September 28th, 2015.

Equally important is the passage in John 11:9.....

John 11:9 New International Version (NIV)

9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light.

This passage of John 11:9 spoken by Christ just before he leaves to resurrect Lazarus foretells the general time of the year (but not the exact date) that the rapture may occur this year. Equal amounts of day and night is the Fall Solstice which is September 23rd, 2015.This date correlates to the Final Blood Moon and the conclusion of the Shemitah year! These are three confirming dates!

But remember....

The Day and Hour Unknown
Matthew 24:36 New International Version (NIV)
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Mark 13:32 New International Version (NIV)
32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

If you want to be assured that you'll be included in the rapture, where Jesus Christ will return for his believers just before God's final judgment of mankind (hint: The Great Tribulation), then just believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

See you in heaven!

God Bless

Dear Brother ugmug, Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Is there the possibility that even John Hagee may not understand as much as Jesus did concerning all the signs?

You also mention that all there is to do if I understand you correctly is to believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to miss the tribulation. How would that pertain to the great multitude of Christianity to come out of great tribulation according to Rev 7:14?

Thanks.

Revelation 7:14 refers to the people who were kept out of the great tribulation rather than coming from the great tribulation. The Greek phrase "coming out of" or "away from" ("ek" in the Greek #G1537) is the same thinking in Revelation 3:10 of the promise to keep out of or away from ("ek" in the Greek #G1537) the time of temptation / trial that will come upon the whole world. The difference in the words "coming out of" and "keeping out of" are future in Revelation 3:10 and in the vision of Revelation 7:14 as the appearance of already having happened.

Taking the mark of the beast means eternal doom. Not taking it means losing everything in this life including life itself. Give us strength to make this choice, O Lord.

Revelation 13:16–17 (AV)
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Revelation 14:9–13 (AV)
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12Here is the patience of the saints**: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

**Revelation 3:10 (AV)
10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 16:2 (AV)
2And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Revelation 19:20 (AV)
20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:4 (AV)
4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 7:14 (AV)
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

In a sense, the truest test of belief would be facing the mark of the beast or certain death.

Most believers won't embarrass themselves for Jesus to make a public witness for Christ or will not miss Superbowl to go to worship services... then there's the favorite vices we would never dream of giving up (not so long as we believe the Gospel is ONLY an eternal fire insurance policy / exit strategy when the inevitable comes).
