Well I've met my wife God has given crazy conformation in so many place by so many People, yet she says God has shown her nothing other than connections she has made. So my question would be is it odd that hasn't gotten conformation and for that matter, how would I even talk to he'd about the situation, considering she has this let's just see what happens attitude any suggestions advice something.

Well before I can give some advice, I'd need a little more info. How old are you guys? What is the confirmation you've gotten? Are you 1000 % certain that's what it is?

One thing I do know is, because we are people, sometimes when we get our hearts set on something, we will convince ourselves in dozens of little ways that "God told me so", when in reality He's shaking His head saying, "That's not what I said!"

Give a few more details, and I'll try to offer an opinion. God bless.

I just wanted to add a quick tidbit that just occurred to me. You both serve the same God. If you're both seeking Him, He is not going to tell you one thing, and her something else.

I actually counseled a girl I worked with on this exact same issue. He was convinced, she was not. He was also extremely pushy (not rude, just pestering). The two started dating shortly after but, at her request, they're moving forward at roughly the pace of a salted snail. In my experience, when you feel what you're feeling, you really need to take a few steps back and evaluate the situation. The heart is deceitful above all things, and DESPERATELY wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). You really should cool your jets and take some time to look at this situation objectively, and make sure your heart isn't deceiving you.

Um...I'm really very sincerely and utterly sorry, but I really couldn't follow that. I got that you did this on your phone, but can you please retype this section? I'm very very sorry.

One thing I did get that I want to ask you is this. In your first post, you said you had confirmation. I asked you what kind of confirmation. Then you said everything God told you would happen happened (I think that's what you were saying).

So let me ask again, what kind of confirmation did you get? What did God tell you would happen? How did He tell you it would happen?

Well. I guess they did not come back to find the answer.

The answer is, even if God has given you a sign of confirmation... it's still a matter of choice your and hers. God can set up many best bond most compatible marriages but it is up to us to make the choices and the right decisions after getting married.

These "confirmations" are what? This is very prevalent in the Charismatic circles and not a good way to be led. Your flesh wants something and the devil sends 5 people over to confirm what you wanted. I have seen a whole lot of folks get off track following these so called confirmations.

Getting married to someone is the worse, I have seen those go wrong the most. I know 3 people convinced that God told them that was their spouse, and one of them is married to someone else that is suppose to leave their current spouse to marry this person so they can do the "REAL" plan of God.

We need to be Spirit led and your right John the poster did not care enough to come back and I doubt they would have listened anyway.

Mike.

Your revelation of who your marriage partner is going to be should come directly from God. If she has not received her revelation, don't do anything. Just continue in life doing God's will. Both of you need your revelation from God; and I think that is one of the most exciting things. :)
