That's what happens when you don't read the scriptures, you get decieved and scammed.

The financial requirement is only for her to obtain and hold membership status by what I read. Does she have to be an official member of the church congregation to worship with them? Of course, she also needs to ask herself if the teaching of the church is aligned with Scripture? Perhaps this is a warning to look for another church.

Isn't that Rev. Lyons old church? If so, that would explain a lot of things.

I'm pretty sure she'd agree with me that it's 'time to turn away from the organized church'.
