This morning I visited the supermarket and met a friend she told me that a friend of ours their grandson drowned on Thursday. This hit like a bullet since I did not see the local news on Thursday. The twins, along with their grandfather went to he beach but one seemed to have gone back into the sea when his brother and grandfather were leaving. All efforts fail to save him. The twins are about 9 years old. The parents along with the grandparents are in deep shock. They are all Christians.

Please pray that God will give them the strength to cope at this very difficult time. I have a friend who lives in Ohio she lost her son a few years ago to drowning too he was a high school student who attended the same school as one of my sons. Now with this recent drowning the memories keep flooding back.

There is little worse than losing a child. Very sorry for the family. My brother lost his 24 year old son and though it's been years, it's still a tender pain that visits regularly. Less intense, but still strong enough for many tears. I lift up this family and friends to God.

It is just wrong when your children die before you do but to pass over before they are 10! Lord, please give these parents your Comforting hand and please LORD guide them through this dark valley to the light on the other side and Father, as you did with Job, restore what has been lost and assure them that their blessed son is in the presence of your son now.
